I also took my first step in honoring my commitment to increasing my exercise routine.. I stepped on to the eliptical torture machine this morning and had a good workout. I will post again at the next opportunity! The Central Connecticut Cares support group really does.... well there seems to be no other way to say it.... we CARE about each other and ourselves! Have a wonderful day! Dan

Dear CCC members
I have not been very active lately because I have been hav ing some major problems with my foot . Unfortunately. it resulted in a infection that landed me in the hospittal for 10 days then another 6 weeks at Gaylord Rehab Center for IV antiboitice therapy.
Well if I have to be in the hospital then this is the best time to do it. I don't have to shovel snow, I dont' have to drive in the snow and I get my meals bought to me I do for cardio and strength training... I am on crutches and can go anywhere in the building.... So this is not to bad
My release date is Feb 11 I am thrilled to say. That means I can attend the CCCare meeting on Sat the 12th. I hope the snow stops long enought to allow us to meet.
I know with the snow falling I find myself falling into some old habits and that nasty head hunger is creeping in. I hope we can all take a deep breath and help each other figure out what will get us thru the winter.
See you there on Sat the 12th
Gloria
