Of course you can post it anytime you want.  It is communial property as far as I am concerned

Dan has been raving about your group and just loves it.  He has invited me down to one f your meetings to share the experience and get a feel as to why your group is successful.

I hope our group becomes as popular as yours does.    I have been researching my little buns off lately to get a handle on what we could do ... Any suggestions would be wonderful

Gloria,

I love this post!

With your permission, I'd like to post it on my LIPO virtual forum.  Or, better yet, please feel free to post it yourself:

Hi CCC,

I will be in Ithaca that weekend but promise to attend some of your future meetings.

Good luck and thanks for the positive reference with regards to LIPO.   It makes me happy to know how much some people care about support and understand that it is a necessity for a successful journey!  I hope that you take what you've liked from our meeting and share it with your new group and continue to "pay it forward" Dan.  Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

I am in Mexico having my surgery on 1/29 and not returning til 2/1.  I would have liked to attend but my wls is calling me.

i really am looking for an offline support meetup group of other wls people who understand what this is all about and hope this group is a  success.

Topic: Our First Meeting - Meet and Greet
Our first meeting is on January 30th at 10:00am in Middletown. (see events and discussion topics for details). Please make every attempt to attend. This first meeting we will focus on discovering "who we are" and "where are we going?" I was involved with a group along the CT shoreline last year that fell apart due to apathy. I didn't give up. I traveled the area and discovered what support groups are supposed to be... at LIPO (Long Island Post Ops) in Long Island, NY. We can form a meaningfull group here too. It will supplement your Hospital/Surgeon sponsored programs. If you want to be part of a support group that meets your needs, show up and express yourself, give us your ideas and experiences... help make this support group "yours". We plan to meet at least once per month, have many group activities, and Gloria is hosting a weekly Chat (Wednesday at 8:00PM). You joined our group because you recognise how important support is after surgery or you are preop and have questions..... let CCCares be part of your journey and your success. Thanks, Dan
