ITS GLOLRIA"S SURGIVERSARY!

Congratulations to Gloria as she celebrates her 1 year Surgiversary.               Way to go Gloria       You are an inspiration to us all.

Thank you so much for the recognition and encouragement.    I am among good company and other success stories.  

As I reflect back,  I read  my past  journal entries as I marched toward surgery.   I am in awe of all of the things I hoped would change,   and they did.   But my biggest surprise is all the little things that I took being part of life and not part of being obese.  

My upper arm actually can go across my chest ... and my boobs don't stop them

I can actually wrap my fingers around my wrist.    That means I can now wear bracelets.          (Now I just need to find the rich man to buy me the diamond bracelets)

Yup there is a space between my legs and my love handles don't look like boobs on my back

Let me share my biggest surprise on my 1st year anniversary.     I went to the office and a couple of men were walking out   they held the door, no big deal, nice men do that alot.  .    But when I got into the office the receptionist commented on they were checking out my butt.    IMAGINE THAT CHECKING OUT MY BUTT.        Instead of my fat A**,,,    Yippeee
