Topic: Reinforcement Cards and/or Phrases ??
Hi Guys,
I'm at work and struggling today. I'm new to group, I have the book but haven't finished reading it. I did however, get to the part where they mention "Reinforcement Cards and/or phrases" that we should read during the day or when having a bad moment.
What are those phrases? Need them BAD today. I can already tell that I'm having thought of eating crap that's not on my meal plan.
HELP!

Topic: RE: Day One Homework/ Checklist
Right now Im at work. I have one list at my desk in my drawer hidden under my snack stash so I can pull it out (i do my eating at my desk) My other list is in my bra..lol ( I never have any pockets) i can duck into the bathroom and read it in the stall. at home i will post on the fridge. They also suggested writing your list in shorthand or some type of code only you understand if you are afraid of people finding it.

I agree with the disadvantage od not being able to use food for comfort and having to deal with the real issues.

Anyone else have a hard time with this? I can make the list of reasons but they seem very personal and I'm not all that comfortable "Posting in my environment". I probably just need to get over it . I just wondered if anyone else felt this way.

I have completed the book and am using this as a refresher. It is great to learn of other's experiences.
