When you read the post for day 11 you will see that I said this is something that I will need to do again and again. So how about we just start up Monday just as if the weekend never happened. I want to work this program with you. I know I will be more successful if I am not going this alone!
So you hit a little speed bump, thats okay....forget about the past 2 days and just move on to Day 11, doing what you need to do to succeed and meet your goals.
Its good that you got some new music, I plan on being at the gym first thing in the morning.
I will watch for your Day 11 post, we a team.... we'll work through this together thats what Day 6 is all about right?

Today’s assignment is to SKIP LUNCH.
Using the chart on pg. 12, skip lunch, track how uncomfortable you feel….. rating your discomfort 0 - 10. Record how well you tolerate the feeling of hunger.
I think this may not be difficult for most of us that have had WLS. I know personally as long as I can drink, I can go for hours without feeling true hunger pains. I think I am going to change the rules on this one for myself…..I will skip lunch but I will also not allow myself to drink anything 4 hours prior to missing my lunch.
Any one else able to go without food as long as there are fluids available?
Any other suggestions how to tweek this assignment and still stay with in the guidelines?

I know what you mean about the PT when I was at the gym the last two days I tried to avoid him, nice guy but I gain some since I’ve seen him last and I was trying to avoid a lecture.
I really like the Wii. I have the Wii Plus and the Active. Its nice because you can get a good work out, get your heart rate up and a sweat on or you can just do some yoga or balancing.
Its the type of thing that you can work into, for instance my balance is not that great so I use a chair to assist me until I get to the point that I can do it with out.
The boys would love it too you would probably have to fight to get some time on it. LOL
How are you doing with the BDS are you finding the assignments easy?
I just got my book the first of this week. I had one reserved at the library but when I was at Chapters it was on sale for 6.99 so I grabbed it.

I've wondered about th wii on the days I am homebound, how do you like it.
I actually have the most fun when I take the the boys and walk on the treadmill. working on the eliptical, not there yet
I think this is one of the most important tasks yet…..When over eat or eat bad choices I do it to dull or numb my feelings.
With this challenge I am to get in tune and pay attention to how I feel about what I am eating…. this is makes me face some things. It’s not that I don’t know the how to distinguish between these 3, It’s recognising and acknowledging that it is one and not the other.
The book says to repeat this task as many times as needed. I have a post-it stuck in the book on this day because I think this is a key day for me so I’ll be back here often.
The only problem with this is I am never REALLY hungry I think the last time I was hungry was when I had to fast for 12 hours for test. That was hunger,cause I could hear my pouch growling.

Melva, that’s looks like a great plan! My Daughter bought me PT lessons couple years ago for Mothers Day, it was great to learn how to use the machines properly. He really pushed me hard.
Are you enjoying your time with your PT? I know a lot of people have a love hate relationship.
I have just started back to the gym after a very long time, so far I’ve not use any weight machines I’ll likely wait for a few weeks. I love being back though
My plan for today is to spend some time on the Wii just having fun!
