Topic: Its The Week end
How's everyone doing?  I love the weekends but as far as  sticking to a diet I dread them.
At my house most weekends food wise is fend for yourself, either find some leftovers or......God forbid.....cook a meal. The adults in my house........ just cant be bothered They pretend they don't know how to cook..... I have proof that they do know how!!!  So we tend to eat out or order in Saturday and Sunday.

 I am not so sure how I am going to stick to my plan.  I'm just going to make good choices and if we eat out I think I will request a take out container right away so I can package up most of it...out of site out of mind LOL

Day 15

It's D Day, time to put what you've learnt in the last 2 weeks to work.. Today follow the food plan that was made yesterday, record any unplanned food and journal food experiences. Plan tomorrows menu.

April, it is never nice when you have a dumping episode, hope your feeling better now.

 I have not been reading my Advantage list so I have decided that for the next few days I will go back to my school days for awhile. I am going to write them out once a day and be sure to read them once a day before I throw the paper in the garbage.

Today, I made a hurried mistake.    The lunch I have been packing all week, ran out yesterday and I didnt notice unitl this morning.    SO, I improvised with some pre-packaged bbq chicken that I bought for the kids.    I am officially a dumper.   I didn't know because I was scared to find out I didn't.    Fear kept me from eating the wrong foods.    Now, I know I am a dumper and I am pretty sure at this exact moment, I may just die.    The pain is misery, and can guarntee that fear will definitely keep from eating the wrong foods now.    I will be even more diligent in my meal planning. Not the way, i wanted to spend today

April, I think this is one of the days that as a WLS person that we have to "pass over." 

Maybe you could just take this day to go back and reflect on a day that  might need some improvement.
We have to remember that this book is not writen with a pouch in mind  and we need not do anything that will harm our pouches.

I am on Day 17, which is Learn to stop overeating.   One of the exercises is to eat dinner very quickly, then stop and wait 20 minutes.     I can't do this one because if I eat fast, I will get sick.   I also can't overeat or I will get sick.   Any ideas on how to make today more effective without making myself sick?

Beverely 9.5 is 9.5 whatever it is that is fantastic you are on track and doing something about it, the pounds are not gonna stop dropping off they may slow down but thats all good. Congratulaons you are doing it and thats whats important...

Free, at least you are reading them, I have been neglecting to do that.  I think that’s a good idea at least you know that there ther if you need them !!!

Day 4 tody mindset better I will Give my self credit for all i do thats gonna mke me get out the positive on everything.

I am on day 14 and I am supposed to write out a plan for what I will eat tomorrow. I wrote it out anyway, with a few snacks having an option 1, option 2, and option 3 depending on what I want to eat. My dinner is the most variable part of the day, so I should start planning those out in advance, probably on Sundays.

 

At this point in the plan, I’m getting really sick of reading my weight loss advantages list over and over again. I’ve been getting my email reminders to do so and just deleting them. Perhaps I should just cut back to reading it 3 or 4 times a week?

On the bright side, I have been having much longer debates with myself about my cravings, even if I still lose a lot of the time. I’ve been paying much more attention to the eating experiencing too, focusing on what I’m eating and enjoying it as much as I can instead of mindlessly snacking. I’ve also been more mindful of my hunger, reflecting on whether I really need to eat before going to the kitchen.
