I agree with all the side affects I found when I was reading it would cause extreme tiredness especially with the deficiency itself and the insomnia.

I have been extremely tired and down in the dumps for no apparent reason, and I was trying to figure out if they were connected. I found something when I searched and it appears that they could be caused by a Vitamin D Deficiency. I am going to start my supplement tonight and hope things improve soon.

Topic: End Overeating
The Beck Diet Solution alerts us to two types of overeating: * You eat any food in a greater quantity than you had planned; or * You feel full partway through your meal but continue to fini**** anyway, leading to a feeling of overfullness.
Typical situations where you may overeat are at a restaurant, when you are served large portions, or if you're eating family style and can easily take seconds. (I actually don't serve foods family-style for this reason.)
To practice, select a meal and (1) choose a food that's on your plan, but give yourself a larger portion than you would normally allow; and (2) put something on your plate that you're not supposed to eat. At the beginning of the meal, you can push the extra portions to the side of your plate and eat only the remaining food.
If you're tempted to eat the extra food, use anti-craving techniques (assess your level of discomfort, tell yourself NO CHOICE, etc) and respond to any sabotaging thoughts.
When you've finished eating just the food you're supposed to, clear your plate. Throw out the excess or save it for another meal.
To lose weight, you must stop eating when you've eaten the amount of food on your plan. Remember the excess food will go to waste - in your body or in the garbage.

When vitamin D is very rigorously missing in a right amount the daily intake of diets it can lead to osteomalacia in adults and rickets in some group of children. Individuals who are suffering from lesser degrees or a very fewer amount of deficiency of this vitamin in their diet may have some thing like a burning sensation in the mouth and throat, loss of appetite, weight loss, diarrhea, insomnia and visual problems. Various symptoms for its deficiency may include rickets, improper mineralization of the body, skeletal deformities, soft bones, osteomalacia in grown up adults, muscle weakness, bone pain, concentration of a specific form of the vitamin in the blood, liver malfunctions, gallbladder malfunctions, intestinal disorders.

I agree with Beverley, I also got some ideas I to have a problem with 70 grams of protein, and adding the protein to the coffee will be something I will try.

Topic: Vitamin D Deficiency
My surgeon's office just called and said my Vitamin D levels are low and want me to take extra Vitamin D. Which I will do as soon as I get home. Do any of you know what the symptoms are for low Vitamin D? I was just curious if maybe this is why I have been tired and a little down.
