I am really enjoying TBDS, I think CT is what I have needed for years. I finally feel that I can get this eating thing under control.
I still have to work on perfecting some of the steps and tasks that I’ve learnt up to this point. I am working on them but it takes little time to retrain the brain and allow some of the junk to be replaced with brand new things.
It’s a purging process!!!!! When I purge I sometimes find things and say no I am not ready to get rid of this yet and I keep it but the next time I purge..... its gone!
I look at this first round in TBDS as the first purge, there will be many more to follow.

Day 17 Learn To Stop Over Eating
We are ask today is to identify when you are no longer hungry and stop eating.
Purposely take a double portion of one meal today, before you eat eyeball half of it and pu**** to the side. Now eat the ½ portion and stop! If you are tempted to eat more than the one portion use your tools.
Today we will be eating out, I will use my take out container idea for the first time today . I do have a tendency to say “I am finished" but then continue to pick at it. When I am at home I will just keep a roll of saran wrap within reach and wrap it right away.

I guess I am on a little plateau,I am okay with this my body needs to get familar with this number. It’s a number my body hasn’t seen in years.

Also since doing this step I am becoming more picky about what I eat because I am taking my time and noticing the taste, texture...for instance I could shovel in fast food, but would not want to "savor" it b/c it isnt all that tasty to me. Im finding that i have to plan something that I really enjoy eating thats nutritious and tasty.
