I really think it is related to my water intake. It has caused me to have bathroom issues where I can't go (sorry for the info), and I am sure that has something to do with it. Today, i have finished two 16.9 oz bottles of water and am about half-way through with my third one. Magically, after the second bottle of water, the bathroom issues fixed themselves. I feel so much better now.
To combat the issue this morning, I set all four bottles in front of me this morning, and actually pu****er into my schedule...lol Seems silly, but I have to do what works, and right now this is working.

April, sometimes when the scale doesn’t move for a period of time it is because the body is trying to adjust to the weight loss, I would say give it another week or so to see if you are on a plateau. If you are, you might need to eat more calories or maybe even less calories or increase the exercise.
BTW how are you doing with that water intake?
Well on the positive side of a belt it can be a very good gauge for inches lost, the scale might not move but the notches on the belt might be.
Happy shopping, be sure to come here and share your shopping story with us, I know there will be one.
I so agree with your friend, I’m sure your hubby is a little intimidated by your loss and your new found self confidence. We have to remember that our men think and react differently then we women do. We seek their approval and want them to be verbal about it, saying “oh honey you are looking so thin and sexy"! But they are not put together that way.
Sorry any men that may be reading this
I asked my hubby the other day, “can you tell I am loosing weight? He said I though I could see it the other day" LOL I thought to myself you need stronger glasses dear. I know my husband loves me no matter what size I am, because he loves me for me. Honestly I don’t even think he sees me as a 261 pound woman.
We just have to remember that we are doing this for ourselves and they will can come along for the ride or not……. it is THEIR CHOICE.
Keep going, your doing great April!!!!

I too weigh daily, it seems to keep me on track. When I compare my daily food intake and exercise with my daily weight loss or gain it helps me to know where I am messing up or if I am on the right track.
I have tried weighing only once a week but I found that if the scales are up 2-3 pounds I would get frustrated and say ******, then I would avoid the scales for weeks causing even more damage. For me the out of sight scale, is not a good thing.
Weighing daily also reminds me that my weight will fluctuate daily depending on what is happening in my life eg. too much salt, not enough water, too many carbs, too little or no exercise, hormones, stress........
I only graph my weekly weighton Friday and for me that is the true number.
I agree with April that you have to do what works for you.

I weigh in almost everyday. However, I only log the weight once a week. For example, this week I have had issues drinking my fluids. My weight has been all over the place, but today was my "official" weigh-in and I remained the same. I am doing a contest with a friend, so I have to record my weight on Saturday for a short time. However, I don't let the other days get to me too bad. I think you have to do what works best for you.

I am a little excited about shopping. The pants that are falling off are Size 18s. But my mom altered them, so I didn't have to buy anymore at that time. I am not sure if I will be in a 14 when I go, but I will be so close that I am getting excited.
My husband has not been accepting of my changes. Someone said something that discouraged me about my husband. So I went outside with a friend of mine so I didn't get bent out of shape. She told me that the difference in me is just remarkable. She said you have a confidence that I have never seen in you, you glow now, and you care about yourself to the point that you are making sure you look good and treat your body well. I was blushing. She then told me to be patient with my husband because as good as my changes are, he has never seen this new me before and it probably scares the crap out of him.
I have to keep remembering when the scales don't move, that I am changing even if it is on the inside, and keep on moving forward.
Our bodies are such strange things. When I get on the scale it does not reflect the work that I have been doing these last few weeks but my clothes are fitting me so differently.
When I look in the mirror I can see the difference. My belly is going down quite a bit and I am seeing my waist is beginning to get smaller.
I was walking up the stairs at the gym the other day and I felt my workout pants were very loose and I had to keep pulling them up.
At the start of winter I could barely get my winter coat buttoned up, now it fits me rather loosely.
I noticed there is more room between me and my steering wheel.
So even thought the numbers on the scales are not moving down quickly, my body is taking on a form of its own and I like it.
Anyone else seeing some body changes they want to share?

Melva, I think this is normal, it is your body that is just begining to realize that you are treating it differently and like a spoiled child it is trying to have a temper tantrum.
You are doing the right thing using your 4 steps.
Maybe revisit day 11-12 if this hungry continues.
Just remember that you are doing a great job, keep your eye on the goal. It will happen this year!

Prepare For Travel
Stay in control by planning a strategy before you go away. Decide how closely you will stay on your plan. Will you allow yourself to gain a pound or to? You might want to be a little less strict with yourself during your travel time.
May be allow your self a extra 100 calories a day or permit yourself one splurge day during the week. Be sure to get some planned exercise in everyday.
Beck says,
"If your eating rules are too strict, you might get fed up and abandon your diet altogether."
What ever it is that you will allow, be sure to write your plan on a card, reminding yourself of the temporary changes that you have agree to and read them everyday several days before you go away and while you are away. Reread Day11-13 while you are traveling.
On your return home start focusing on getting
