Two types of exercise:
1. Spontaneous Exercise - taking advantage of situations you're in to get more exercise.
2. Planned Exercise

The importance of exercise cannot be overemphasized!

What are you doing daily for exercise?

Here is my exercise regime:

Planned Exercise:

I walk daily with the Leslie Sansone, Walking DVDs- she has several.
I go to Gym- LA  Fitness at least 3 times per week
I go to Personal Trainer 1 time per week
On Saturday or Sunday walk with a family member to local store which is 1.2 miles

Spontaneous Exercise:

When I go out to work park at back of lot and walk as long as it is daylight when I go in
Take the stairs  instead of elevator
When at home I walk around my yard to pick up trash and the newspaper- I live on 3 acres
When I go to store or mall park as far back as possible to get walk in.

This is what I do on a daily basis, trying to get fit and stay fit

Right now I am doing 2 mile walking DVD's 5 days a week.  As I lose weight I will increase to 6 days and 3 miles and eventually going back to health club.  I have a variety of DVD's so I can mix up my workouts to keep my body off track so as not to do the same thing daily.  April 5th I am going to start walking during my lunch at work.  I will walk 20 to 25 min. 2 to 3 times a week at work in addition to the 2 mile DVD's.

I wear my pedometer for Spontaneous Exercise though out the day.  It really helps me find ways to take extra steps and get moving thur out the day.

I was not sure if your question was rhetorical or not but I replied....:-)  Thanks Melva!

Molly

lol, could be either, thanks for sharing, and yes I have several pedometers I am gonna start wearing mine too because sometimes we don't know how many steps or miles we have walked and that adds up to exercise too.

I agree, I have to get miy pedometer out and put it on first thing in the morning. They say your goal should be 10000 steps per day.  Now where did I put that little thing?

Wow ladies, You gals have great exercise plans.  Way to go.

My exercise
I am at the gym for 1 hr Monday through Friday, right now I am just doing cardio. I am really trying to focus on just losing the pounds.
In the next 2-3 weeks I will start to add some weights to my work outs to build muscle.

I park at the far end of the parking lots and quite often walk around the store just looking before I actually look for the items I need to purchase.

I am going to entice my hubby to start walking  with me in the evenings a few nights a week as soon as the weather gets warmer.

Shedding pounds YAHHOOOO!
