To keep myself accountable I am using this thread to log my progress.

Today 3-15-10 is my day #2

Plan 1
The Basic post op RNY plan
Protein (70)g
1 shake a day ( I am horrible with this one)
Lean protein, low carb, low/no sugar, veggies

Plan 2
WW point system with high protein/low carb

Also to add, I am getting back to the basics, 64+ oz water a day, protein 1st (I have been sucking in this dept) Exercise 4X a week (as I have no excuses I have access to a free gym and plenty of equipment at home)

EODWIFEY, sounds like a solid plan.

I too love coffee, every morning I have a protein coffee.  You have to be careful when you add the protein to the hot coffee or it will curdle.
 
What I do is mix my protein with about a 1/8 cup of cool water, once it is mixed well I add my coffee to it. Also be careful that the coffee is not pipping hot or again it will curdle.

In the warmer weather I do ice caps,same thing only I add cold coffee and ice.  Both of these are very yummy.

Good job with the exercise plan, We just have to make time for ourselves when it comes to exercise.  Get your runners on...your worth it!!!!!

Read Advantage Lists  2 xs a day or more if needed
Sit Down, Slow Down, Enjoy Each Bite
Credit myself
Be accountable here daily
Exercise is not an option
Be aware of cravings and desires
Plan meals today for tomorrow

Day #3
I do sit to eat, problem is I sit in front of my computer to eat while the TV is on and life is swirling around me.
I resolve to eat meals at the dining table. This way I will be totally aware of what I am eating/how fast/ and I will savor/enjoy instead of just eating without thought.

I think more of us enjoy the company of our PC and TV than we would like to admit.
I think we feel this is multi-tasking, but how can we benefit our goals if we are eating mindlessly!

I have a problem in this area as well. right now I am eat ing about 30%  in front of the TV or computer and mostly Breakfast and Lunch.

  Set a nice place setting, maybe flowers  on the table or a candle or even just a nice napkin.  Your worth it!!!

I agree with Beverley, I also got some ideas I to have a problem with 70 grams of protein, and adding the protein to the coffee will be something I will try.

Day #4
I give myself credit for hitting the gym ( I so didn't want to but I did it)
I give myself credit for staying on plan today.
I give myself credit for keeping focus and saying accountable.

Eodwifey, thanks for sharing your credit list with us, this is one of the things that I really need to work on. 

I tend to find that personal criticism comes much easier than crediting myself. 

I am a work in progress and I am worth it!!
