Keep Up With Exercise
Don’t allow those sabotaging thoughts keep you from exercising, be bold talk back to them!
If you hate to exercise here are some suggestions beck has to get yourself moving.
Focus on how you’ll feel after exercising
Put exercise in the NO CHOICE category
Meet a friend or trainer
Give yourself lots of credit
Focus on your progress
End the session with something positive
Just make a effort to do it every day and before you know it, it will become an important part of you day. Don’t forget to schedule it in to each day, Your worth it!

I park far away too. I purchased a pedometor last week and goal to do 7000 steps daily for now. I reached this goal one day this week. I am trying to get back into exercising now. It is a work in progress. So far this week I have did 2 short activites. I do Leslie also. I walk 20 min Tues, did 2 mile DVD and today I danced for about 25 min, tomorrow and Saturday will do a DVD. If I do that I will meet one of my goals which was to exercise 5 days 20 min or more.
I have been back to the gym now for about 2 months. I hadn't been because I had gained some weight and I was embarrassed to go because of that.
I lost a few pounds and said to myself "you are paying just as much for your membership as someone who is thin, you get your butt in grearand get to the gym". Now I go 4-5 days a week first thing in the morning and I spend 1 hour there.
When I stop going I know that as soon as I get back to it, I will ask myself why I waited so long to get back at it.
Right now I am just doing the treadmill, elliptical, Arc and bike. I will probably start doing weights in a week or two. Right now what I am focusing on, is getting the pounds off and the area that needs the most work is my legs, so this is why I am sticking to the machines for now.
What is everyone else doing for exercise?

I am going to think about what you said about the gym because I have not been back myself for over a year because of weight gain. They have sent me renewal already and I have given them a year of free money.
That is awesome, keep going everyday with your walking and dancing
That is it free money for the gym and no rewards for the person that does not show up to exercise regularly.
I too gave them plenty of $$$$ and did not take advantaage of the services. The reason I didn't give my membership up is because , I am one of the foundation members and the rate I pay is so low.
The mportant thing right now is that we are moving right? Moving towards our goals!

Great topic.....I am awful at the exercise piece. I love it while I am exercising and afterwards, I just never get myself motivated.
I am going out of town this weekend, so I won't be able to get to the Y. But I did something last night that I think will force me to get to the gym. I made appointmetns with myself in my blackberry. Exercise is already on my mind all the time, and if the Blackberry reminds me to go too, I think I will get tired of not doing it and just go.
I scheduled several days a week at the Y, and a couple of days of walking. My friend lives down the street and when its pretty we like to walk outside together. She mentioned she wanted to start doing that again since it has warmed up.
I am getting excited about my new plan of attack on exercise.

I need to plan when I am going to the gym,or I may not go. I make sure that I am there by 8:00 AM. I get up in the morning and put my gym clothes on and get it done first thing.
You could keep an extra pair of runners and some work out clothes in the trunk of your car. There has been lots of times I drive past the gym and stop in unplanned because I have my stuff with me.
Set up a reward system for yourself , may be a dollar in a jar every time you make it there and once you have $15-20 use it to treat yourself - maybe a brow wax ,a massage, a movie.
I have notice that the last few days there is less people at the gym because the weather is getting so nice. I think I will continue to go to the gym ever AM and save the outside walking for the evenings maybe I can get DH to go with me
