Reducing Stress

 


Three steps to lower stress:
1.  Identify & solve the problem.
2.  Relax
3.  Change your mindset:
 


Mild stress is okay. Moderate to high levels are counterproductive.

Consider changing the wording you have in your self imposed rules:

Should /Shouldn’t - replace it with Realistic

Always / Never - replace it with reasonable

Beck says, "Once I take steps to reduce my overall stress, dieting will be easier."

When you notice yourself feeling stressed, examine why your feeling stressed, and take steps to reduce the stress.

Heres what I will do daily to succeed:
Read Advantage Lists  2 xs a day or more if needed
Sit Down, Slow Down, Enjoy Each Bite
Credit myself
Be accountable here daily
Exercise is not an option
Be aware of cravings and desires
Plan meals today for tomorrow

I know this is one area where I need to work on.   I have always been a high-intensity person.    I have been learning to calm down and not let so many things stress me out.   But I still have a long way to go.
