I was wrong about fluid intake requirements

I know I could have added my response to the discussion from a couple days ago.  But it is important enought to mention again.

I spoke to my wife last night.  She really remembers what the docs have told me to do more than I do.  Our bodies usually use (or lose depending on your terminology) 64 oz of fluids per day.  In order to simply break even, we need to take in 64 oz.  It's used to hyrdrate us and to flush fluids in our systems.  My wife pointed out that I usually drink closer to 90 fluid oz in any given 24 hr period but that I'm just not aware of it because of my irregular sleep patterns.

So, sometimes I'm right but this time--my previous post on fluids-- I was wrong.  Bob

You are right 64 is bare minimum for most but I believe for us its 80 to 90 ++.
You were not wrong you just had to add to it so give yourself credit for drinking 64 thats a start and we all have to start somewhere and the important thing is recognizing. You or your better half realized you needed to bump it up and you are and you came to tell the group that an thats good

So here is to our increase of fluid intake
