day 24 Talk about Discouragement
When I first started my meal plan I was so excited , no hunger pangs, no cravings, I was all up about everything I needed to do to make this happen for me. Well things did turn I have been continuously hungry for the past couple days.
I had to constantly encourage myself by:
1. Reading my advantages More than 2 times a day. Not only did I read I thought each one out as I re-wrote them.
2. I came to the group sites and read and posted several discussions
3. Took a walk to park and store
4. Called my Diet Coach.
As I am looking back on my actions and responses as Beck said,
1. I should always remind myself that dieting is not difficult especially if my reason why is BIG ENOUGH
2. I should work hard to focus on what I can do today- take this plan one day at a time.
When we feel overwhelmed get our response cards out immediately:
Just Remember:
NO CHOICE NO CHOICE NO CHOICE

Melva, I know how you are feeling. This life change we made when we had our surgeries was for ever. It is a hard road but you can do it.. Just remember why you started this jurney and how you felt when the Doctor told you " you qualify" Your mind will play tricks on you and we all have to get out of that mindset of talking ourself into being hungery. I know I have to every day. Stay strong, Iam routeing for you!!!!!
Keep working Melva. Even though I am on a different day, your topic jumped out at me this morning. It was my weigh-in day. I haven't lost any weight since I hit Onderland two weeks ago. I have finally needed to deal with discouragement. I know that I am doing most of the right things, and that weight loss will continue. I know that my body is still shrinking because I can walk right out of my pants. Going to buy new ones tomorrow. This is the first time I have really had to give myself a pep talk.

Melva, I think this is normal, it is your body that is just begining to realize that you are treating it differently and like a spoiled child it is trying to have a temper tantrum.
You are doing the right thing using your 4 steps.
Maybe revisit day 11-12 if this hungry continues.
Just remember that you are doing a great job, keep your eye on the goal. It will happen this year!

Be aware of cravings and desires
