How is Everybody Doing
Good Morning Fellow BDS folks. Just checking in to see how we are all doing . Let me encourage us all, to check in frequently give your input ask questions or just read and learn. I know for me BDS is a little different from what I am used to doing but it is also the same . The same meaning one common goal, staying or getting healthy and losing weight.
I was just thinking of ways we can encourage and help each other more. I know I like to talk and write a lot but this is all of our group and we all should or could be writing something daily, we help each other so much with just our words. We have so much experience within our group just think we have the power to do whatever it is we want to do and be happy about it.
Let me throw this out as a group question, with all the tools we have here on OH, we could even jump in on the chat line once a week and talk basically to each other in real time, what do you think about that?
Let us know what you think and please what can we do to help each other

Melva I agree . we certainly could be a little more talkative on this forum. I am greatful that the few of us that are here are pretty consistent considering we have only been up and running here for about 3 weeks.
And of course every group has their lurkers and hopefully one day they will be an active part of the conversations as well.
Even if everyone everyday just posts what day they are working on and if its going well or not would me a good beginning.
I think alot of times we just don't know what to say and if we do say something how people will take it. I personally would like to believe that this is a safe place to talk about anything that pertains to our weight loss.

I am doing great. Can't wait to start over again. I am here in the mountains with my family, all we have learned or learning is easily applied. I see it all sabotaging thoughts food pushers you name it I had it yesterday.
Here is my thoughts, people are trying to be genuinely helpful, I was driving so when we made a stop they wanted to make sure I was taken care of they bought me ice cream chips candy, OMG, I wasn't rude, I said No thanx You no I had the gastric bypass and if I eat any of this I will possibly be in the hospital and I told them what dumping syndrome was and how it could affect my body. I turned it into a learning situation, so it was all good. I ended up drinking my premixed protein drink and had my water for the drive. Not only was it satisfying I felt good for not straying from my plan.
I am gonna do this, no weight loss this week but my clothes are a lot looser for which I am extremely happy..

Remember the scale is just a tool a gauge. The loose fitting clothes tell the real truth of your weigh loss.

Yesterday I was wide awake and up out of bed at 3:30 am, and again today awake and out of bed at 2:30am. This has got to stop!
This morning I am retaining a lot of water I can feel it and see it in my feet and hands.
I am planning my day 2 South Beach food day, well not really because the book has it all planned for me LOL. I am making sure that I record everything and have everthing I need.
I am going to look ahead at a few days and see if there are some things that I can cook in advance, just to make life a little easier.
My gym opens in 5 mins @ 5:00 am, i think I will be ther for 6:30 - 7:00 this morning.
