I am having a hard time so I am going to hang out on Day 16 again. I am feeling unmotivated and discouraged. I am trying to snap out of it, but I feel I am loosing my way. My deisre to loose weight is waning. I am looking at my advanteges to help move me. So much going on at work and at home......(but that is really an excuse )I really need to get it together.

Free, I hope you don't give up.   We can get through this together.

I just wanted to check in because I have been away for a few days.   My husband recently returned from Iraq, and we had some major drama in the house this weekend.    I had to put the book aside for a few days, because honestly I had a few more important issues to deal with.   I don't really want to go into any details on a public forum, but if you guys pray, can you add my family to your prayer list.

Tonight, I am going to figure out what day I am on and get right back to doing the daily activites.   The good news, even though I didn't progress in the book, I did stay true to my eating plan for the most part.   I didn't feel too much need to stray, even though my emotions normally would want me to.

I hear ya! Sounds good, and I will add your family to your list. Way to go avoiding emotional eating during tough times. That is quite an accomplishment.

Hello. I am on day one. I read the intro sections of the book last night and am in the process of making my advantages/disadvatages list. I realize I am not supposed to "diet" until day 15, but as you all know we are all already on a diet of sorts given that we had surgery. So in preparation I decided to stat logging my food intake. Not so much to start the diet but to see where I am. I was surprised after I got home a logged everything into the OH health tracker. Oh my. 1700 cal!!! Now about 650 of them were from protein drinks. i had one for breakfast and 2 more for snacks. I ate chicken with breakfast and a burger (hold the bun please!)for lunch. Then tonight I had whole wheat pasta and sauce. I ate slow. I ate sitting down. I didn't overeat, or so i thought, but after seeing the calories.....ugh! No wonder I am at a plateau. I guess I should be glad I haven't gained. Wow. I am glad I am here. On a positive note I did work out and used a lot of those calories.......that was the first in a while........and might I say it felt great!

Bevvv22, I too have been really shocked when I counted my calories and thought no way and re counted them only to discover that I had forgot to add an item and that brought the number high LOL
Keep using the health tracker it’s a great tool. Good job on working out, I too am always surprised at how good I feel after I work out.
Keep posting and letting us know how your doing each day.
