Work the program at a pace that is comfortable for you. One thing I decided early on in the program was that I could not take Dr Judith Beck's advice to not star****ching my food until after 1 week on the program. It just didn't make sense to me.
Also, there were some aspects of the program that I could never do. Specifically, I could never plan my next day's food plans. Part of the reason for that is that my wife does the cooking and she usually doesn't decide what to have for dinner until that day's morning. However, I could commit to portion sizes and meal contents, i.e., protein, complex carbs, etc per meal.

Heres what I will do daily to succeed:
Read Advantage Lists 2 xs a day or more if needed
Sit Down, Slow Down, Enjoy Each Bite
Credit myself
Be accountable here daily
Exercise is not an option
Be aware of cravings and desires
Plan meals today for tomorrow
Free, looks like another rough day for you but I’m sure you can get though it .
Here a couple suggestions; for your party how about chewing SF gum while serving those goodies and keep your water bottle close.
As for the VD candy, why not re gift it… you can waste it or waist it.
Enjoy your gym time and sons practice…think of all the calories that you are burning.
You can do it!!! I know you can just remind yourself of your advantages and working your resistance muscle.

thanks Bev...yes I need to go go the store and "restock" my envionment. Sug free gum, spenda, tea, salad ingredients....also Im thinking about reintroducing fruit into my diet. I have been avoiding it due to calories and sugar, but maybe it will help my sweet tooth that I have had lately. I'd be better off eating a sweet juicy piece of fruit to take the edge off than avoiding it alltogether and end up bingeing on candy.
Headaches remain today..... :(
