I am so excited I have did my excersie 6 days last week. I have also added into my regimine the walk at home with Leslie San*#@. I feel so energized. recieved my Beck book and it is fantastic. Thanks for this group it has given me lots of ideas to make this jouney a successful one!!!

Melva, that is awesome, exercise seems to be my biggest downfall !!!!! Glad to hear you have your book now.... share often with us....let us know how each day is going.  Looking forward to hearing your experiences as you go through each day!!!

Heres what I will do daily to succeed:
Read Advantage Lists  2 xs a day or more if needed
Sit Down, Slow Down, Enjoy Each Bite
Credit myself
Be accountable here daily
Exercise is not an option
Be aware of cravings and desires
Plan meals today for tomorrow

Great Job Melva! Today is my day to get back on my exercise bandwagon. Dragging my feet but I will get it done

Free, Lol now thats what I am talkin about, No Pain No Gain, I am sore and tired too, But I felt so energized I cleaned out my whole closet and that is a big job, WHEW!!!
Becks book, I am on day 1 just got it yesterday and I can't seem to put it down I got the book and the workbook too I will be using the cognitive thinking throughout my 6wk Beck Plan.
I am gonna do some sorta exercise daily even on the gym and PT days..

Sounds great! Please post about your days!!! I got a serious 'high' off my workout today too! Now I am wo out! lol The book IS very interesting.

A "serious high" I'm looking for that when I refuse to give into a craving for sweet or salt.
Opps, thats tomorrows topic , I'm getting alot of insight out of this book as well.

Well right now I feel proud of myself and well..a little tiny bit deprived and angry. I went to the drugstore to get some cold meds for my son and I was drawn to the candy, snack and ice cream aisle..(I HAD to go that way...right???) First I looked for a 'nutrition bar'  or protien bar which is really a candybar with 'nutrients' ..then I migrated to the sugar free fat free ice cream..yum ..ooohh look at those new flavors..then the sugar free chocolate...only 30 calories a piece..righ?? ..RIGHT??? I could 'slowly and mindfully' (like the book said) eat JUST one tonight...ummmm....and hide the rest. Think of all the calories I burned today when I worked out. Surely this wont hurt. I've binged in the past and I still lost weight cause I was exercising! Right???......Well I had a CONVERSATION with MYSELF for 10 whole minutes in the drugstore tonight. I am proud to say that all confections and snacks remained in the store. I am now safely at home drinking the rest of my crystal light...and and about 40 minutes from now if I still want something sweet I will eat a tiny bit of Special K chocolate delight cereal slightly moistend with skim milk and extra spenda!
