Day 12 Tolerating hunger

Today’s assignment is to SKIP LUNCH.

Using the chart on pg. 12, skip lunch, track how uncomfortable you feel….. rating your discomfort 0 - 10. Record how well you tolerate the feeling of hunger.

I think this may not be difficult for most of us that have had WLS. I know personally as long as I can drink, I can go for hours without feeling true hunger pains. I think I am going to change the rules on this one for myself…..I will skip lunch but I will also not allow myself to drink anything 4 hours prior to missing my lunch.

Any one else able to go without food as long as there are fluids available?
Any other suggestions how to tweek this assignment and still stay with in the guidelines?

Heres what I will do daily to succeed:
Read Advantage Lists  2 xs a day or more if needed
Sit Down, Slow Down, Enjoy Each Bite
Credit myself
Be accountable here daily
Exercise is not an option
Be aware of cravings and desires
Plan meals today for tomorrow

This was more difficult than I thought. The idea that I couldn't eat made me "hungrier" and obssesed

beverely when I get to this day I no I will modify to clear non caloric liquid, I get hypglycemic easy, and as long as I can drink I will omit lunch I will post when I get to this day I am on day 1 now so I have a minute to get there

Melva, if Day 12  is something that will endanger your health then you need to skip this step. You know what you are able to do to stay healthy. Just move on to the next day!
