Day 9 Exercise Plan

Read day 9 and create your exercise plan. Mine is 30 min cardio on the eliptical 1.8 miles every other day which is 5 times a week. Dont forget to complete all oc the other activites

Read your list

eat mindfully and slowly

eat everything sitting down
follow your  schedule


What is your exercise plan?

Right now my exercise is greatly curtailed as I recover from reconstructive surgery.  My plan is to gradually increase the distance I walk.  that's working well for me right now.

Well this morning I was out of the house and at the gym by 8:00 I spent 10 min on the

elliptical, 30 mins on the treadmill, out of that30 mins I did 5 - 1 min interval runs, pretty proud of myself for that one! Then I was on the bike of 20 mins. On my way out I passed the spinning room it was empty so I went in and tried it on for size, I was only on it for about 3 mins. I feel very good, I calculated that on all machines I one hr …..I only did just a bit over 300kcal not very impressed but anyways I did it and I’m going to make this an on going habit.


LOL now i am off to read DAY 9.... I think its about exercise

Read Advantage Lists  2 xs a day or more if needed
Sit Down, Slow Down, Enjoy Each Bite
Credit myself
Be accountable here daily
Exercise is not an option
Be aware of cravings and desires
Plan meals today for tomorrow

Happy,

I understand that walking is the best most natural form of exercise. Just having surgery you don’t want to over do it, listen to you body. What type of surgery did you have?

Free, good goal! I find the elliptical hard to do, I was on it 8 mins today, my plan it to do 10 mins next time and just keep increasing till I get 30 mins in. Other than that do you have any other suggestions to concur this beast?

when I started on the eliptical  lasted 3 minutes. Now I am very proud of my 30..but I have 'flulike symptoms' as the doctor said this week and have not been this week. I hate it b/c when I have a break away from it its sooo much harder to get started..AND I feel guilty about not doing it. I really dont have any advice other than I just do it. Honestly if I could loose weight and not do it (and I know many people who do) I would'nt..but that's the only way I get results. My main motivation is music. I get my music going and it makes time fly b/c I love music and dancing. But I have to do positive self talk to get myself to the gym almost every time...also sometimes I tell another person that Im going or supposed to be going on the days Im dragging. Sometimes that keeps me accountable.

My plan for Day 9 is to exercise at the gym a least 3 x a week and get on the Wii at least 3 x a week for 30 min.

My spontaneous plan is to take the stairs when ever possible and to park as far away from my destination as possible.
 

I have been considering my schedule for Day 8, even thought I have already made my chart and plan to use it , I think for a few days I am going to keep track of everything I do on an hourly basis and use them together for a few days. I did that today and I really accomplished a lot more than I had planned. The first thing on my schedule is the gym.

my schedule needs some work too. I defienitely need to do something about the weekends. I tend to freestlyle and procrastinate on sat and sun

treadmill 5 days a week walking for 45 min walk 2 days a week for 2 miles. Personal trainer 2 days a week

Melva, that’s looks like a great plan!   My Daughter bought me PT lessons couple years ago for Mothers Day, it was great to learn how to use the machines properly. He really pushed me hard.

Are you enjoying your time with your PT? I know a lot of people have a love hate relationship.

I have just started back to the gym after a very long time, so far I’ve not use any weight machines I’ll likely wait for a few weeks. I love being back though

My plan for today is to spend some time on the Wii just having fun!

Same here love hate relationship. I hate to go she works me I mean really works me, but I know I need that push and it is getting a little easier but still love hate..lol.s I am homeb
I've wondered about th wii on the days I am homebound, how do you like it.

I actually have the most fun when I take the the boys and walk on the treadmill. working on the eliptical, not there yet
