Look at your life during the week and on weekends and schedule your life to be condusive to dieting and exercise. Do I have enough time to exersicse? To sit down and enjoy each meal? To grocery shop long enough to compare labels and make good choices? Read day 8 and make your schedule. One for weekdays and one for weekends. I will post later today after I do mine to discuss and reflect. I hope that you will do the same.

Dont forget to...
Read your list
congratulate yourself
eat everythig sitting down
eat more slowly

Today I took the time to consider my weekly schedule. I have never been one to live by the rules not even my own rules. I am currently retired (dh is not impressed) I was looking after my grandkids but my son in law got fired last week so he stays with the kids now.

So time is not an issue for me but laziness is! I have often made schedules but they never last very long…maybe this time will be different. I can see a challenge coming on LOL

I did schedule in time for the gym and the Wii. I haven’t been to the gym in a very long time I know as soon as I get there I will wonder why it took me so long to get back…(lazy remember). I also have put a limit on my computer time. I don’t really enjoy cooking so I will cook 2-3 dishes on the same day then I will freeze them for later in the week. I have also scheduled an earlier bed time, I have been thinking I need about 8 hrs instead of 61/2 -7 hours.

I do want to go back and re read some of what I read this morning before the nights up.

This afternoon my dh had an appointment downtown so I went with him and it was such a nice day we went for an hour walk, it was about 2:00 so I said lets have lunch. I choose homemade chilli and with it came 2 slices of homemade rye bread and I ate them. There were some nice big PB cookies sitting there and I debated for about 5 mins. I though I will just get one and share it with dh. I won we left the restaurant cookie-less.

Then we strolled down the street and stopped in to one of the $ stores, I lost that battle there but I shared that chocolate bar with my dh. I came home and made supper and now the kitchen is closed

Great strategies and I live your signature line by the way..

Great job on the cookes..and as for the chocolate..well you shared it instead of eating the whole thing...
Exercise...harder to get started than it is to continue IMO..also I just try to focus on that workout for that day instead of..OMG I am going to do this # of days per week forever.......Also I tell myself that "Wow you are really taking care of yourself" or "I am treating myself like a queen by working out to take care of my body" It also helps me to realize that MOST slender people have to work out in order to be that way. I read information online about celeberties and their workout routines. It helps me to feel more like a part of normal society rather than OMG Nobody has to do this but lil ole fat me.....

I like your commitment to more sleep. Defienitely underrated.
