Day 6 Find a Diet Coach

Someone you can talk to about challenges, food plan, and anything else related to this journey.  I plan to primarily use this group and and I  do have a friend IRL who I can call reguarly to discuss diet and exercise needs. This group and OH will be a part of my diet coaching as wel.

Eat everything Sitting Down
Eat more slowly

I use the BOTT group for this.  They truly have made the difference in my being able to get back/staying on track.  I love them dearly

 I do the same thing.   I admit it, I've been using OH as my coach.

You're posts are great, just wanted you to know how thankful I am.  I can always come on here to see what I'm suppose to be doing for myself.

 Today has been good.  Took some time to read my list and a couple of times, sitting while I have dinner.   I'm hanging in there.

My Congrat's List for today:
Took all my vitamins
Took the stairs at work
Exercised

better..I think I need to revisit my food plan. I like to save extra calories for the end of the day, however I am trying to eat more regularly thru out the day ( I used to starve all day and stuff all night). I need to find the right 'groove'..a happy medium. ..working on it

 I did that for a while too, did not work for me.  I always seem to do better if I eat a small meal every 3-4 hours.  I need to keep my "monster" at bay.  Can not let myself get too hungry, otherwise I just lose complete control once I do allow myself to eat.  Best way for me to do this is to play my meals every morning.  I post my meal plan and email it to myself at work so I can look at it through out my day.

I was not sure where to put this so I decided that the Day 6 Coach was the best place. I want to share one of my major downfalls.

Eating at night is a big thing for me. I quite often will want something to eat, it could be a P B sandwich or a bowl of cereal in the evening…..I purposely choose to wait till everyone is in their bedrooms or asleep till I go and get what ever it is I want.

With this said, I want to declare that as of today if I feel the need to sabotage myself in this manner I will come here in search of a Diet Coach.

“I WILL NOT EAT ALONE AT NIGHT WHEN EVERYONE IS IN BED"

if I need to eat it will be: SF Jello, Protein Shakes, coffee and tea ONLY

1st time 01/31/2010 - 03/14/2010 lost 13 lbs
2nd time started 03/23/2010 -
Heres what I will do daily to succeed:
Read Advantage Lists  2 xs a day or more if needed
Sit Down, Slow Down, Enjoy Each Bite
Credit myself
Be accountable here daily
Exercise is not an option
Be aware of cravings and desires
Plan meals today for tomorrow

Good for you for 'saying' it out loud here. It helps me too to share what I've noticed about me eating patterns and feelings. Sneaking food is a deeply rooted behavior for me too. Hmmm...I wonder what that is about? I guess more will be revealed....
