As Jiminy Cricket sings in the movie, Pinocio, ACCENTUATE THE POSITIVE - ELIMINATE THE NEGATIVE!!!!

Reward yourself for compliance (especially on a day it took effort) with a new outfit - it doesn't have to be brand new - consignment and thrift shops have pretty clothes at a fraction of the price of brand new ones.  If we want positive behavior, we have to reward positive behavior - but  we have to learn the value of non-food rewards.  You can do it!!!!!!!!

Great point. I am definitely going to try to do that. Sometimes when I have so far to go  I feel like this little bit of compliance aint worth much. Rewarding positive behavior with non food rewards...will hato work towards that.

EVERY little bit of compliance is of monumental importance.  Why?  Because you can't take the next stip until you've taken the first step, the second step, the third step, etc etc etc.

Remember the saying (I think it's a native Americian saying but I'm not sure)  A journey of a tousand miles begins with the first step.  So very true.  Yoi deserve a fine reward for taking the first step - no matter how many miles you still have to go.

1. Trigger to pig out - boredom, feeling rejected

2..Trigger to graze - not planning and preparing meals

3.  Trigger to be compliant - seeing the scale move, clothes fitting better

Beverly - I'm 4+ years out from my lap band surgery and I find that planning and preparing to maintain  is even more important now than when I was losing.  WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER!!!!!

Just remember no one's rejection can bother you without your permission.

Planing a day ahead (preferably 2 or 3 days) writing down my plan and following my plan no matter what is essential for me!

YOU CAN DO THIS, YES YOU CAN
