Back to Basics Boot Camp
Starting the New Year off Right!!!
Hello everyone I am new to the group, I have the same struggles that you all have, and I too want and need some support. I just recently had a TT and Brachioplasty, and a hernia repair on Dec. 9, 2011. I am doing great, I love my arms and the way my new body looks; however, I want to get and stay motivated to reach my goal, for I never reached it from my initial RNY, I had a revision 2/2010, and have lost 115 pounds for the second time. I don't want to go down that weight gain road again. So, I want to get back on track by starting the 5 Day Pouch Test I printed off the (GBOT) board, I plan on starting January 1, 2012. Is there anyone who wish to tackle this with me, if so please post, and we can do this together it will make it easier for us if we have support. I will check the group discussion board daily to see...thank you in advance and have a Happy New Year!!
I am 4 years post op and have gained around 45 pounds and counting. I am not going to try the pouch test, because I think I would fail that, but do plan to log everything (and follow the RNY plan of protein first, more protein, less carbs, etc.) and get back to the gym 1 morning a week for 45 minutes of cardio. That is my January goal - log/plan and cardio. I am also in the gym two afternoons a week - I have not fallen off the wagon from that aspect.
If you would like a buddy that is following a different plan, I would love to be your buddy.
