Hi again, I had the VSG a little over a month ago and I am nervous. I get hungry a lot and I will just eat a little cheese stick or something if I get a craving but I am having trouble over eating at meals already. I track my food on my fitness pal and that helps so I can see what im doing and im always under 600 cals a day but I am afraid that I am going to screw this up. My scale stopped moving 2 weeks ago and I know you can have stalls and all that but I cant help but worry that I am doing something wrong. I am trying to up my protein content and realized that even eating a tablespoon of carbs is not a good thing and I am still trying to get all my fluids in for the day. Any advice or suggestions or a swift kick in the butt would be much appreciated!

For fluids, here's what works for me....I have a refillable bottle with a lid that seals that I fill up as I'm doing my night time routine and I can usually get about 10 -15 oz or so in between bath, brush, books, tucking kids in and getting myself to bed. I leave my bottle on the nightstand (here's where I need the lid that seals, because I tend to slap the snooze 2 or 3 time and boy does it make a mess when it's just a glass of water). So when I wake up and do the morning routine, I can get another 10-15 oz in. Really it's 20-30 oz of water without trying for me. I fill it up again and with the hour commute I can get in another 10 or so...Then I fill it up again on my way home from work...that's onother 10 oz. Almost all my water. It works for me, maybe it will work for you too. I find that when I

For me carbs are a demon that I fight daily. I'm 13 months out and have lost 110 so far, but I want to loose another 40-50. I know that when I am able to avoid processed food, I do significantly better. You might consider not choosing processed foods like crackers...for me it's flour, corn and cornmeal that are especially bad.

What kind of exercise are you doing? You may want to change that up a little...5 minutes more or increase your intesity.

Let us know how you are doing.
