Today the focus is protein

I've been pretty good about staying in the right track but want to lose some weight also.  So - first two parts of the plan are: 1. focus on losing 5 lbs only.  I'll worry about the rest 5 lbs at a time.  2. Today my focus is protein first.

Sounds like a good plan. I try to set interim goals too. Right now I am 1 pound away from my next interim goal...208. This is what I weighed in 8th grade (goes to show how long this struggle has been for me.) I'm on my second 5 day pouch retest and seem to be getting better at it. I suppose the thing that is sticking to me the most is that I just 'gotta get back up on that horse' even when I fall off and feel bruised.  I like that you have something to focus on for today. What will your focus be once you have mastered getting in your protein?

I'm sure by the time I do get my protein in it will be bed time!  My alternate focus is to not have popcorn in the evening.  It's my go to I'm pissed off and want to eat food.  It is air popped and I use fake spray butter but still it's a carb I don't need.

Hubby brought me a huge container of Isopure dutch chocolate and I'm going to attempt the pouch test starting tomorrow. I decided not to start on Monday because in my "dieting days' that's when I'd always say I'd start....I had a shake last night instead of a snack and this morning instead of snacking. I've got to stop grazing it's my NUM 1 problem..morning, noon and Esp. at nightI like the 5lbs at a time plan. Small steps....
