1. Did great on the no drinking after I eat.  It's always easier on a work day for whatever reason
2. I missed one vitamin!  Must do better tomorrow!!!
3. So far, very good with the snacking.  I'm atcually going to head to bed early tonight, do a little reading far away from the kitchen.  :)

This is a great way to start!

1. 70 grams of protein each day
2. No drinking while/after eating (especially wine)
3. Three meals (each less than 45 minutes)

Wow...panic set in as I was writing these! But it's a start!

Lets start with 3 things.. they can be whatever you choose, but you need to commit to stick to those 3 things the rest of this week.

I am choosing these three:

1. No drinking after I eat.  I need to stick to the 1 hour after eating
2. Getting all my vitamins in (how easily I forget)
3. The only snack I eat in the evening is the ONE healthy snack I choose earlier in the day (when I have resolve and commitment)

Lets report each day on how we did toward our goals.
Don't pick three very hard ones, but do try to push yourself a little.  It's only 5 days!! We can do it!

I was mentally different when I had the unfill becausae I was sick and what I had to eat was not suppose to be example the went me to eat sherbet drink gatorade and to thepoint anything that I could get to stay down After feeling beter like two weeks before Christmas I didn't want all the restriction that I had prior to being sick but I did try to keep my self some what in line to what I was eating I NEVER EAT LIKE BEFORE THE SURGERY!! I did eat things that I wasn't suppose. I now eat yogurt in the morning a snack mid day some kind protein and veg at lunch snack at mid day
dinner and I almost never miss I have icecream sandwich at night it is sugarfree 100 calories klondikes my dr say it was ok as long not effecting my weight lose or sugar. He also said as long following program I couldn't deprived myself of everything otherwise it won't work! I drink 2 cups coffee and 64-70 oz of water a day plus I am back to exercise program.

Thats great!
Im very lucky because we have a gym in my apartment complex. I do the eliptical for 45 mins then I started off lifting 5 pounds weights now im doing 7 pounds. After Im done that I go to my apartment and do zome Zumba(I bought the dvds) but Im only doing about 20 or 25 mins, its so tiring lol. This prob sounds stupid but I have the Carmen Electra striptease workouts on dvd so I switch off days. At first I felt so stupid doing the striptease workouts but I can feel it in all my muslces when Im done and Im starting to feel a little sexy while I do them haha!

My son is 7 unfortuantly his father is not involved in his life but he loves the fact that Im getting thinner than i was. He told me the other day I was the prettiest mom in the world and i was getting skinny but then went on to tell me even when I was big I was beautiful Hes such a sweetheart. When I got the surgery I just told him i was getting my belly fixed lol but as he noticed me losing weight I sat down and explained to him and he was fine with it. Hes even started doing a little Zumba with me lol!

Thats awesome you do the running as a family! Im sure they love the new mom just the same as they did the old mom :) I think some kids respond to change differently but your doing what you need to do to get healthy for yourself and them and thats all that matters.
I cant wait until I can do things as a family. I havent been on a date or met anyone in over 3 yrs. Some men can be so swallow but I have faith I will find a good man that likes me for me and accepts my son.

Congrats on 38 lbs! 18 lbs since November 17 is amazing, especially considering you've had nothing but will power to get you through. I think the numbers on the band don't really matter because everyone is so different. I know that my experiences have been unlike anyone else I've talked with. The few times I've brought up things in the main discussion, I found myself getting defensive. If you don't share the same type of problem with someone, there's no way they can relate. (But some sympathy would be nice!)

Oddly, I still can't really eat salad and many fruits. Bananas are a favorite and it's a 50/50 shot on whether it will stay down. (This is where all of the advice on "eat slowly", "chew more" don't really apply - my band has it's own mind of what it will tolerate on any given day, or hour!)

The single coolest thing about the band for me is that it keeps working even when I'm not in the mood for it to. There have been times where I would have reached in and ripped it out for the chance to eat steak, for example. I've done the yo-yo dieting before and it's so depressing. I've been so much more steady with the band. And there's always the option of seeing a doctor when things go off-track.

I imagine exercise must be tough in New York this time of year! In Texas, we start complaining around 45 F and go into despair when it freezes (like it did last night). I still managed to make it out for a run yesterday afternoon but it sucked. I admire the tough people up north! (But I doubt you guys get to celebrate Confederate's Heroes Day, which is January 19.)
