Just has surgery

HI my name is Carla , I just had surgery at Surgical Weight Loss Center two days ago. i had the band done. and i know i'll be sore and gasy for a couple days but i'm having a hard time drinking or taking in any fluids is this quite normal? and everytime i burg it feels like Its getting stuck were my band is?? I did resource and  i can't find anything on if this is normal or not... I'm also looking for some one that will be a good support friend that is going though the same thing. Thanks
