Make three commitments to healthier eating this week?

Lets start with 3 things.. they can be whatever you choose, but you need to commit to stick to those 3 things the rest of this week.

I am choosing these three:

1. No drinking after I eat.  I need to stick to the 1 hour after eating 
2. Getting all my vitamins in (how easily I forget)
3. The only snack I eat in the evening is the ONE healthy snack I choose earlier in the day (when I have resolve and commitment)

Lets report each day on how we did toward our goals. 
Don't pick three very hard ones, but do try to push yourself a little.  It's only 5 days!! We can do it!

I am going to committed to these three:
1 Drink all my water I have not being drinking all suppose to
2 waiting 15 minutes before and 45 minutes after
3 slow down my eating some.

This is a great way to start!

1. 70 grams of protein each day
2. No drinking while/after eating (especially wine)
3. Three meals (each less than 45 minutes)

Wow...panic set in as I was writing these! But it's a start!

Day one I did pretty good still have to slow my eating up some drink 60oz of water so far but it is only 8:25 still have two hours to go should be able to do it. Didn't drink before or after meals. This really helps it makesyou plan your time out How is everyone doing?

Cathie, great job!  It is hard to not drink around meals.  One day almost down!

Kristi, How did you do today?
Seems like we all have problems with the no drinking with meals. 
I have to have protein shakes inbetween meals, are you allowed those?

Don't panic!!  You CAN do this.  It's all a matter of changing habits we've built up for the last ..ahem...  lets just say LOTS of years  :)  It takes time and patience

1. Did great on the no drinking after I eat.  It's always easier on a work day for whatever reason
2. I missed one vitamin!  Must do better tomorrow!!!
3. So far, very good with the snacking.  I'm atcually going to head to bed early tonight, do a little reading far away from the kitchen.  :)

Finsh my water but just screw up had some regluar ice cream can't wait to get out house tomorrow with the roads clear from the snow!!

Great job on the water !!!
Do you have regular ice cream in your house for others?  
I had a snow day monday and I was so worried that I would sit home all day and eat.  Luckily there are a few treats my family likes that I don't.   For example, if they want ice cream- besides the chocolate I love too...they like mint chocolate chip or strawberry and I just don't like those at all.  Those are the flavors i choose to bring home. 
I'm not depriving them of treats, yet I'm not tempting myself so much.

Thursday's progress:
1. I did great on the no drinking
2. I got my vitamins in
3. Did good on snacks
the only thing I need to watch is I ate dinner too fast or didn't chew enough.  I had problems.
