I also gained back 30 pounds! I am down 5 pounds since getting back on track. Wish I would have put an end before I let myself get to the 30 pounds, but I guess losing 30 is much easier than having to lose 50 or more! I also am back to drinking my water, but must admit I have not gotten to the 64oz. a day yet. But besides coffee each morning, water is the only thing I drink. Much better than soda which I had let myself go back too! I'm also trying to eat as few carbs as possible. I know for me personally, carbs make me crave sugar and more carbs. After having carbs out of my system for the past 3 weeks I feel MUCH better already :D I wish you and the rest of us the best of luck :D Post often as you can. It helps everyone.
Thank you both. You are right about protein first. I usually eat salad first because I want to get full. Today was a really good day! I'm saving my calories for dinner. And yes I will eat protein first! 😄

You will learn a lot from this site/group. I drink over a gallon of water a day. Maybe that's too much but I get so thirsty. Glad your getting back on track.

Glad your here. I'm not good at giving advice; however, this is a great site/group to get back on track. Like you I've been trying to lose weight. First it was 5lbs,10lbs, then it jumped to 16lbs when I tried a weight loss program( wasn't sure if I could mention name but it's a national one). Enough of that! Now I'm just doing the basics as so many on here suggest. I lost two pds this week so the water thing does make a difference. I feel a lot less hungry too.
You can do it. I have faith in you. Remember it will take a little time. It didn't come on overnight (although it feels like it). Your brain has already kicked in cause your here.

Worked last night so I'm late with posting. Hope everyone is having a good day.
My day looks like this:
B: Had a Pure protein bar
L: Rotisserie chicken and a salad
S: Celery and almond butter
D: Steak, small sweet potato
please add some healthy fats -like 1/2 avocado - that may satisfy some cravings. Works for me.
an idea:
1 oz of pork rinds
1/2 avocado with 1-2 tbs of salsa... mix all - eat that as a snack instead.
pork rinds - have more proteins that cheese and less fat, and 1 oz of pork rings is a nice servings..

I am still having issues with food tasting awful...I see the Gastroenternologist on Monday....this is day 35 of not feeling well.
my planned eats for.today.....
breakfast......orange (still no coffee)
lunch............serving of chicken spaghetti, if it tastes ok......veggies
dinner...........hmmmm?? I am thinking something Tex-Mex......😁 Just hope it tastes good !!
