Good morning botts:

I am still 210 this morning.  I have guests tonight so I need to clean today.  Hopefully I can lose one more pound tomorrow.  It has been several days since I lost any more.  I had a weight  watchers leader once tell me often people only lose 1/2 lb. a week on the average.  Patience is my middle name.  Weekends are tough.  We eat out at least once.  Restaurant food tastes great, but there are many hidden calories.  It is difficult, but I can't quit.  Be strong and have a great day everyone.  Tri

My food plan today is:

B: jimmy dean sandwich

S: grapefruit, zero Greek yogurt, side salad with fat free dressing

L: grass fed beef, zucchini and tomatoes

S: avocado, salsa, multigrain tortilla chips, rf cheese and plain Greek yogurt

D: grass fed beef, zucchini and tomatoes and veggie soup

S: baked apple, walnuts and craisins

Good morning Brandi Girl and BOTTS:

I lost another pound this morning...210.  I finished the upper kitchen cabinets...WHAT A JOB THAT WAS!!!  2 boxes of breakables and 1 huge bag of plastic stuff to St. Vincent de Paul. All of the cabinets are washed and new contact paper on shelves.  Now for the lowers...after Christmas.  I have other cleaning to do today.  We are having company this weekend.  I have 9 empty Christmas containers to take downstairs.  That is a thigh killer for me.

Have a great day, Tri

S: Salad with nuts and craisins and fat free dressing and no sugar added cocoa

L: whole wheat roll, rf cheese and Salisbury steak

S: 1/2 avocado, chips, salsa, plain Greek yogurt, 3 sf cookies

Topic: NEW DAY!

Well I work half a day today so the morning will be easy for me. I typically never eat breakfast and I don't eat while at work. Worried about when I get off work though. I PLAN on eating lunch meat roll ups with cheese and a greek yogurt with walnuts. Then I have no plans until our work Christmas party tonight. As far as the party goes, I am not concerned. As long as there is a salad there I have no problem going with that because I am one of those people who do not like to over eat or eat poor food choices in front of others. I think I just feel like being over weight people will think poorly of me if they see me making poor choices so I keep that for behind closed doors. But for the hours in between my lunch and the party, well it is going to be a struggle I am sure! I need to stay busy! I need to stay away from fast food and away from candy. Ugh I need to get back on track!! Wish me luck as I do all of you!

I eat - chew on other foods. I.e - individually portioned jerky.. That things are so hard to eat - that it takes me a while... Even just drinking coffee (i.e decaf if you sensitive to caffeine) with some SF coconut milk and some stevia... Now imagine that to be like nice hazelnut flavored coffee....- can you SF hazelnut syrup.. Yum.. Whatever works - makes my pouch Think I "eat yummy food". Sampling things like cheese..or a few nuts...

Good luck... Watch for artificial sweeteners - drinking diet soda makes me hungry.. Like..really hungry... And then I eat... Too much.

I really like the idea of when your starting to do the low carb to just limit the carbs and not worry about how much fat you eat. That would help me not feel so deprived when having to give up carbs. I am lucky as far as my husband also like to limit his carbs because he says carbs bloat him and he feels better when he avoids them (besides the carbs in vegetables). I also need to go back to setting eating times. Lunch at noon and dinner at 6:30. I typically don't eat a breakfast. My dinner time may end up being later (some time much later) due to work but at least on my work days I am able to avoid grazing or in between meals eating. It's my days off I need to be better about.
