Today is day 4 of a drastic but moderate liquid diet.
I have eaten some boiled eggs and crackers as needed.
I can't believe how good I feel? Not hungry?
Today I had a kale & fruit smoothie, Vits. I had a Protein shake. Water & sf Gatorade. Funny story. I teach. At lunch yesterday, I noticed they had my favorite pizza bagel loaded with cheese, for lunch. Oh was I excited. I went all the way back to my room, got money, for lunch? but then I realized?? "ah your on a liquid diet Miss?" I somehow forgot. Just thinking with my eyes I guess, all they looked really delicious and cheesy, wow. My stomach has been making some strange sounds, probably trying figure out what is going on? "Where's the food? I am just doing this induction faze, day by day. I am not really sure how long I will do this faze? I will weigh in on Sat. So far so good. My movement today was some much needed yard work. I love to walk away the pounds! Indoors & out, mostly out with the lovely scenery out doors. I crave a good walk. When I walked on Sunday, my knee was paining me. I have a treadmill, boring! I always stare at the time, I have to cover it. Well tomorrow is another day, hanging tough!

I am also dreaming of onederland. I don't think I have been under 200 lbs. since an endoscopy in 2012. I was close last June. Patience and persistence will lead to success. A couple calories less eaten and a couple calories more burned can make a huge difference over time. I haven't been on the scale in a couple of days. We really can do this. Tri

Good afternoon Botts

Yesterday I was very discouraged, my scale said I was up six lbs. How! I'm not eating that much!!! I mean the worst day i had calorie wise was about 1400ish so I'm guessing too much salt and not drinking enough. So concentrating on watching the salt and getting in all my water. Hopefully in a couple of days it will show on the scale. At least I hope so I go back to the surgeons for a follow up on my surgery on the 3rd.

B premier shake

L 1 egg 2 eggwhites with veggies and half oz cheddar and a T each salsa and lite sour cream

S 3 oz dark meat chicken and 2 T sugar free barbeque sauce

D not sure yet, going to my nieces for dinner

Its is hard, but we can do this! I'm finally getting that like you said its one day at a time even one meal at a time. I had my RNY in December of 2010 and the Apollo over stitch procedure on April 12. In ever reached goal and regained about 30 lbs. I will be thrilled to get under 200 lb!

On again, off again, on again.
I am back again. In 2014, I was able to shed 20lbs. for my Graduation, and I did it. So I know the possibilities of making an effort, and cutting back on the food.
This time, I want to "jump start" some lost. I have started out on a liquid diet. In the hopes of shrinking my stretched out pouch. I know this sounds drastic, but it's the only way for me to commit and get serious about shedding some pounds.
I am back on the boards to be encouraged and gain knowledge. This was never an easy journey for me, and even now ten years ago there were struggles.
Now I truly understand the meaning "one day at a time" & one pound at a time. I know it's still possible, because I've I tried in the past. So now I am trying again. My goal is still, 199. I am still living the dream of "onederland" as they like to call it. I will never be "skinny" but I want to be comfortable, in my own skin.
Day 1.

Topic: 5 weeks until Memorial Day aka...summer!

Summer is just around the corner in Wisconsin. I want to lose 11 lbs. in 5 weeks which is possible but difficult for me. I need to try harder for the next few weeks. I am going out for lunch/dinner this afternoon. I will focus on eating light the rest of the day and getting my veggies in early to fill me up. Persistence and patience are not my strengths. But...I can do this! Have a great day. Tri

S: blueberry and plain Greek yogurt smoothie 150

Lunch out? 650

Yes I do, I couldn't really tell until yesterday. I had pork and potatoes and after eating about half I was so full. So grateful to feel restriction. Most of the purees I've had were basically the same textures as the shakes, the pork was so much denser and filling.
