Tri I remember your avatar from a few years ago, when I was back on the boards a few yrs ago, trying to lose weight for my Graduation ceremony. I lost 20 lbs. and fell back off the wagon. That is just too easy to do!! Now my only reason is just me! & because I want to really try again. Stressing over some other life issues, so focusing on me, right now, is therapy at it's best. Never ever making it to goal, years ago, has always messed with me? Now this time I have some ideas for breaking a plateau when I get there, I am ready for that challenged as well. So I think right?
Sorry for going on & on.

Wow is all I can say. I purchased some "spinach" to make a smoothie, sounded good? but NOT! it was spinach and grapes with coconut milk. Take it or leave it, left it. But now I have cook the Spinach or it will go bad if we don't eat it. Thankfully my son likes it too. Not being tmi, but I need to have a bowel movement at some point, so having some spinach tonight should help that. This is a moderate liquid diet meaning primarily liquids, but tonight I will be having some of that spinach, just a little, I want to see how fast I will fill up? and then wait 30 mins. before a drink.
Speaking of drinking, I will tell you about that in another post in a few days.
I may freeze the remaining of the spinach to enjoy at a later time, perhaps? Can I do that. I need to look that up.
Today was awesome. It's like I think I should be hungry but I am not? What is that? the Protein supplements are really working huh? I had one this morning. & sf Gatorade that I sipped on to get through the day. I will get some reg H2O in this eve. I froze it so, it was cold my entire school day! Went to the Vit Shoppe to get more van. protein powder. I live and die by Syntrax, Nectar, prices keep going up, over the years!! I love the lemon tea, and now the vanilla because I can do so much when it come to smoothies with the Greek yogurt or the unsweetened almond milk. I am so excited about all of my little experiments I will try with protein powder. During this induction faze I purchased some of the dole brand, fruit and veggies, in the bag. Excited about making those smoothies too. Says you can do apple juice, or favorite beverage? I thought about pineapple and cranberry juice. Next time diet CB, right? I can do so much more, then before? or maybe I was just not as experimental as I am Now! Did not walk today, but tomorrow for sure. I will pull my step tape out this weekend, yes ancient old, it's a VHS. still working I pray. I remember looking it up on line a few years ago, to get it on dvd, I may look into that again. Guess what? I can talk your ear off in person too! LOL.
Peace & Love,
Jbug!
CONGRATULATIONS!! It didn't make sense that you would have gained. I had a WW leader that told me if you follow the plan the scale will follow. It sound like the Apollo is working well. There is a girl on the failed weight loss surgery forum that was ok'd for the Apollo and backed out. Perhaps you could post something on that forum because it is working so well with low risk (according to my GI doctor). Tri
good morning botts
I spent time in the garden again yesterday. I trimmed one of my rose bushes. I will work on another one today. And of course more weeding. I do grow a great variety of weeds! I also cleaned a bathroom. I bought one of those rechargeable spinning shower cleaners which I will use today on another bathroom. I hope it works. I also will do my ab exercises before I eat every meal. Have a great day everyone. Tri

Good morning Lady jbug. I am so excited for you. I know Saturday is going to be great! I love OH too. I especially like this bot group because I find support here too. I can feel people really want us to succeed at this lifelong marathon...however we can do it. I am sure your capris are fitting looser. You are not losing only water weight. Look at your calories in and burned! That is real weight coming off. And remember you are putting on muscles too which burns more calories than fat does. I think you are doing great and making real life style changes. Many people keep carbs under 10 per meal and 50 per day to stay in ketosis for life. It is a real option. Tri
Why did I not do this sooner. I did walk today as well.
I know rule, of "gotta move to lose!" that part I will never forget. Starting out slow, but I felt like taking off and running. I can't wait to incorporate some "step aerobics" I love STEP!! now that's cardio for you!
I knew I could not just cut back as they say, and portion control etc. I had to began on the drastic mode? and hopefully when I weigh in on Sat? I will see the digits going down! It's okay if its jus****er weight, and whatever else people come up, to rain on my parade, it's a start, and thankfully, I finally started somewhere! I am that fat girl, that needs motivation, and see the numbers.
Truth be told, this may have been in my mind, but my Capri's felt slightly loose today? Umm?? I'll take what ever I can get. I still am not sure how long I will do my jump start induction faze? as I am calling it. I can't wait to introduce my low carbs in, I love eggs. Scrambled or boiled. I can't wait to do my 1st Spinach omelette. Being around food in general is not easy, but I am making it thus far. Even b4 wls, I lost 60lbs. on low carbs! the best diet of my life. Just trying to get back to that, I originally promised my self after surgery and what? LIFE, need I say more. What's important that I am here now, and I trying now, once again. I just have to take it day by day. I will continue to post as much and as often as I can. Being on this site is a great tool as well. Thanks you OH! I am back on track because of OH, and knowing I will always have support, not matter what part of journey I am on. I am so glad, that OH is still here for me! even after 10 years! Wow, so amazing, and I am very thankful for this website, over the years no matter what, I always come back at some point, to see what's what. OH has always been my #1 tool.
