Topic: Portobello Pizza Review - Gag or Brag?

Well, I made my Portobello Mushroom Pizza and did I gag or am I going to brag?

BRAG!  I was really surprised, but it was really good. The flavor was great and would I make it again? YES!  Some suggestions from my first time trying it. Note to Kathy, melt the cheese more the next time

Get the biggest portobello mushroom you can. Mine was on the small side (ok I was cheap and got the cheapest one).  The bigger the better

I made mine with green pepper, onion, grape tomatoes, garlic pasta sauce and moz cheese.  Since it's in the oven for such a short time I would sauté the veggies the  next time.

For a deep dish pizza girl from ChiTown, I would make this again in a heart beat. Play with the ingredients and try different combos. I hope you try it and like it as much as I did

I checked out Dr. Oz's Total 10 2 week diet and tweeked it. Trying to get my husband on board. He hasn't had WLS but wish he would. He is such a picky eater. I think my body is detoxing as I can't seem to stay out of the bathroom today. Just started this today.

B: Hot lemon water; Premier Protein shake; Strawberry (yum and 30 g. protein!); coffee

L: Sugar snap peas; handful of pecans; avocado

S: Cucumbers and homemade hummus

Linda, sounds like a lot work, but also sensing a great deal of enjoyment and accomplishment in doing it.  Certainly counts as exercise.  For me anytime I am moving my body it feels good.

Dancing sounds so much more fun than what I'll be doing.  Carpet cleaners are coming tomorrow to clean the master bedroom, study, and guest bedroom.  So today I will be taking out the smaller items from the Master and study.  However, I will  be taking everything out of the guest bedroom, The bed, an antique dry sink, antique dressing table, couple of night stands etc.  I have a king bed in there and it is too big for the room so I am replacing it with a bed that belonged to my grandfather.  It is a full size and once the room is cleaned and dry I will bring all the furniture back in along with a new temperpedic full mattress.  Before the cleaners come I will clean all the baseboards, the ac vent, and the ceiling fan.  While they clean the carpets I'll be cleaning the furniture.  Once everything is done that room should be allergen free.  I wish I could do the same in the other two rooms but the furniture is too heavy and I don't have enough space in the rest of the house to put it while the room is being cleaned.  I guess I can consider this exercise.

Morning Linda, the lentil mash sounds delicious.   The winter has slowed me down with exercise as well.  I am trying to be creative as going to a gym bores me and I have a hard time staying committed to something I don't like.  Lets put some music on and dance today!
