So sorry you were bullied Ladybug, that's just not right! I know I can't always post everyday, I help my sister babysit her grandkids a lot and she has no WiFi. Besides you should post when you want to not because someone's bullying you to.
Also I know what you mean about the constipation, absolutely miserable! I have to take miralax if I'm doing a lot of protein shakes or I end up suffering. Now that I can eat more food it's not as bad though.
Really great about your loss, 13 lbs is awesome!!!
Take care,
Edie
Hi Lady bugJ
I am sorry you were bullied. We are all just people with food issues and one way does not work for everyone.
This group has always been a safe and supportive group. I know it is a little slow, but I don't mind that. I post my meals because I lose weight better when I plan it here. I do eat differently than most RNYers. I don't eat too much junk. I eat too much everyday. I think your jumpstart plan was a good idea. 17 lbs. is awesome. I commend your determination. Did your pouch shrink? Does it feel tighter?
TMI: I drink 20 calorie sugar free Metamucil and 100 calorie slimfast snacks for extra fiber and they taste good, but not TOO good. I also take Senna once in a while (a laxative) or eat a prune or 2.
Have a great day, Tri
My plan today:
B: Spinach crustless quiche
S: Greek yogurt and pear
L: deli beef, tortilla and salad
S: blueberry smoothie
D: beef, ss peas, onion, pasta and eggroll
S: my veggie soup, Nutrasystem cookies, protein cocoa
This may be TMI:
The liquid diet went well, it most certainly did jump start some weight loss for sure. -13 lbs!!!
However my biggest mistake was not getting in enough fiber, because boy did I have the hardest bowel movement in my life! It would not come out.
Granted I did eat, spinach within the week, and had my amazing cob salad, but even with all that, I was stuck literally. I could not even sit down! this was so awful. I was pretty much up all night, thinking it was coming, but it would not. I had to lay on my side for sleep. Finally before day break I was able to move it. So painful.
I will never put myself through anything like that again.
Today, I had green tea, & cashews. & water. I had my PD before dinner tonight.
I had my first fiber one salty caramel & choc. bar. Quite tasty.
This week I will stick to mainly liquids, but I have to get in some veggies, or oatmeal several times throughout the week. I never want to go through what I did last night. I can laugh about it now, but that was awful.
Tonight, I am having some mixed squashed for din-din. What a night! and then on top of that, 2 of my posts were banned because I was bullied, and when I came back, they kept roasting me! Sad shame, I came back to OH for support and I get all this back lash, because I post when it's convenient for me? I was a stranger, and they were strangers to me too.
It got way out of control. If no one had ever offended me from the beginning I would have never clapped back on them. This is what OH has become to now?
Well at least I have you? No one barely posts here either? I have noticed. They acted if as if people don't come & go all the time? but they call me out on it? Strange. That MB is some a trip!
I'm over it.
I got a walk in today as well, and it felt great.
How was your day?
Wow 13 lbs.!!! You worked so hard this week you deserved every pound. Congrats! We will get to our goals one way or another. Tri
My plan today:
B: spinach quiche and whole wheat roll
L: Mediterranean salad
D: chicken breast and roast potatoes and my veggie soup
S: fruit salad ??? Greek yogurt???
I am down -13lbs!! Hooray!
Wow. I expected less? drinking primarily mostly liquids did give me a great jump start. Just what I wanted.
Of course this has motivated me, as I knew it would.
I celebrated by making my self, a delicious "Applewood cob salad" for dinner! It was so good.
B- Flavored sparkling water and Protein supplement.
L- H2O
S- Iced coffee, caramel and whip cream. (small size)
D- My beloved Salad. (Jbug's Applewood Cob Salad)
it has a nice ring to it! LOL......
Ingredients
Applewood chix strips ( sold frozen)
Roman lettuce
Blue cheese feta
Mapple bacon pieces
Chopped sweet onion
Eggs,
Cherry tomatoes diced large pieces.
Sweet onion dressing.
I was full indeed. I waited one hour before a beverage.
Peace.
Jbug.
How about during the wk. I call me self exploring and posting on the main discussion board, and some things turned down the wrong path.
I felt like I was being slapped around, and was actually offended. So I slap back of course and a war was on.
Pitiful. Let's smash the Ladybug!! LOL... I am thinking some people really need to get a life. Sure I love OH, and I float in and out? but that's my prerogative. I've been posting and coming back to this site for over 10 yrs. so who are they to judge me?
Yeah, Wow. I pretty much come to OH when it's convenient to me? Well yes, I can own that.
Others getting bent out of shape over that? They don't know me, and the only thing any of us have in common is that we had or are having wls.
I am going to let it go from here? someone posted,
Wow, and my thoughts are this is so sad. Obviously they have a tight clique, and I am an outsider?
I'm okay with that.
God Bless them all, I am a child of God.
Sorry for the rant, they can't steal my Joy!!
Peace,
Jbug
Good afternoon botts:
Another beautiful, but chilly, day in Wisconsin. I trimmed 3 rose bushes today. I have a cleaning schedule now. Today's job was to wash the bathroom floors. Tonight we are going out with friends. Have a great day. Tri
My eating plan today:
B: crustless spinach quiche
S: pear and sf pudding cup
L: chicken breast and roasted potatoes
S: veggie soup and an orange
D: ???
S: protein cocoa and Nutrasystem cookies
Hi Lady Jbug
I would do a water challenge too. I drink too much coffee. I will make a 64 oz. pitcher of Great Value peach mango green tea. I use 1 packet of flavoring which should make 20 oz. so that it is just a touch of flavor. Your post encouraged me to make a crustless spinach quiche yesterday. Tri
B: JD delight
S: Greek yogurt and orange
L: grass fed beef and brown rice man and cheese
S: Protein coffee
D: my veggie soup and spinach crustless quiche
S: Slimfast snack
Hi Lady Jbug
I really admire your determination as you work out your plan.
Yes I freeze spinach all the time. We have a grocery store that sells huge bags (about a foot by 20 inches) of spinach. I fill a Rubbermade green salad container and pop that in the fridge. Then I put the rest of the spinach in the freezer. After it is frozen I pound it with my fist while it is frozen and it chops the spinach for baking with it. I make spinach (lots of it), onion, garlic, egg, milk and part skim cheese baked souffle or crustless quiche with it. Sometimes I use the 8 gm protein and fiber tortilla and make a crusted quiche. I can add it to pasta and tomato sauce for a side dish. I can add it to my veggie soup. Spinach is a staple for me. Take care, Tri
Tomorrow I will post what I can or will do better for the next week of my journey.
I can tell you right now, I need to drink more water.
I love water, but I am slacking. Tomorrow on my PT job I will only flush with water, my entire shift.
Is anyone up for a water challenge for next week?
Do you all still do little mini challenges like that ?
I was on the General board, and they were quite harsh if I must say? It's all good, they don't know me I guess, I just popped up?
As I stated when and if I ever leave, I always check in at some point. So forgive me now, for later.
Lol.
Today I had my 2 protein supp. my vits. Gatorade & now water. 4oz peach yogurt with granola & 2 boiled eggs, the best boiled eggs of my life.
Perhaps tomorrow eve for dinner I will have some scrambled eggs.
This week or next do 1 meal a day? is that to drastic again, well I hope so! I want this 55lbs. gone now!
That meal will be loaded with protein, and low carb veggies for sure? Chix & veggies. I can't wait. Keep you posted. Or I may do a 2nd week of liquids in moderation? let's see what this scale reads in the morning!
Nite-nite.
Peace
Jbug
