Back On Track Together

I have been through this before so I recognize it and know what to do. The numbers on the scale have been steadily going down. It's now stopped and I know what the next step is. MOVE Like most older life long obese persons I am now having back issues and knee issues. Not bad, but enough to make me say I will exercise tomorrow. Well, its tomorrow. Although I use to be a gym rat I really don't want to go that route for now.
Plan A, tackle cardio first and then add resistance. I am going to try walking and if that does not work get some air in my bike tires. I also bought an exercise ball. If you have never used one it's a great workout and also therapy for your back.
Plan B, if I can't do plan A due to my knee and back issues I will find a pool somewhere.
Wish me luck

Good Morning everyone
Today I will eat
Vitamins
water
B - boiled egg
lunch - soup of some kind....I'm feeling cold
diner - grilled talapia and veggies
snack grapefruit ( I still have a lot of grapefruit)
I am craving yellow squash, zucchini, onions, and tomato smothered together with Italian seasoning. Too bad I have none of the ingredients except the seasoning. Time for a run to the store.
I buy regular ole store bought multi-vitamins. I buy the adult gummies. For my vitamin D I order from Vitalady.com She has had the surgery and her vitamims are made for us. I do not absorb Iron so I don't take it. When needed I get and infusion. Had a series 5 years ago and haven't needed one since. Vitalady is reasonable. I have purchased online from Bariatric eating as well. Their vitamins are also made with us in mind, if memory serves they are a little more expensive than vitalady.
Thank you for welcoming me to the group. I will write a full fledge intro tomorrow, but long story short, I had Roux-en-y 5/29/2009. My highest weight was 289, my lowest weight was 171. I felt good at 171, but really had a goal of reaching 160. I have slowly let carbs come back into my regular eating habits!!!! And of course protein has been low. So of course, I've had regain. Right now I'm at 196 lbs. My plan to get back on track is to do 2 protein drinks daily, a snack, and a meal. I was thinking of doing this for a week or two sort of as a detox. My question to you is where do you like to buy your supplements and vitamins from? Best prices, etc? I look forward to learning from and with you.
Sincerely,
Sara

Good Morning Everyone
Today my house is totally torn up. I have removed everything from three bedrooms so the carpet cleaner can get to all the nooks and crannies. As a result the uncarpeted rooms are loaded. I can't extend my recliner and I can't open my refrigerator. So eats will be a little more complicated. I would normally go to my protein drinks or bars but can't have them for a month. I am having blood work a month apart to see it I can get off my coumidin permanently. I am off it for the 30 days so I can't have soy.l I see eating out in my future today.
B - boiled egg and oat nut bread
Lunch Carraba's grilled chicken with tomato and cucumber
D - I always have leftovers so more grilled chicken and tomato, cucumber salad.
I have taken my supliments and I am drinking water.
My exercise for today will be putting back all the furniture.
Welcome back. We are all in the same boat and it gets more crowed each day. Like you say we know what to do.
