ok when i had my surgery i was told 95 g of protein at least...but is there too much..i heard protein can be turned into fat if it is too much...
are the macros the same for wls patients as non wls ... so confusing.
this says i should eat 1946 cal and 118 protein a day if i am doing a low carb to loose..that seems high...idk
I'm going to try again tomorrow. I'm not drinking my coffee again but since today was my first day I barely drank anything at all. I probably only had 8-16 oz of water. Nothing else. So tomorrow I'm going to focus on drinking more. When I get back to drinking water regularly I'm going to go to grazing next. I was just reminded of a time that I was verbally attacked because of my weight bringing on much sadness. I don't want that happening to me again, i don't want to be asked when I'm due again, I don't want to feel like this anymore. I just want to feel secure in my own body.
I wish there was therapist anywhere near me that deal with eating disorders. I am kind of on my own.
Night time now...the most challenging part of the day:
b 1 egg, avocado, lf cheese, roasted peppers
s popcorn
l Spanish rice w/ broccoli and Brussels sprouts
d same as breakfast with added egg
went to Zumba after work
sipping on a hot chocolate with 1/2 scoop of protein.
B - Quest Protein PB Cups (as I forgot to put my shakes in the fridge)
L - Package of Peanuts and Mini BabyBel Cheese and Crackers (got caught between errands and work and poor planning)
D - Chicken Soup, Babybel Cheese and Crackers
S - Atkins shake
Not my best day, but trying...
Here you go. It is called WLS No drinking with meals

I've never liked avocados (I know, I'm in the minority) so I never really knew they were that high. 277 calories? Now I'm glad I don't like them. LOL.
I like how you started your post - "My head is in the game!" It is so true. A big part of being on track is to keep our heads in the game. I'm going to look at it that way so thanks!

Good for you that you don't have an evening snack! My evening snack time is my difficult time. I've fought the habit of eating more in the evening.
Congrats on NO evening snacks! That's an accomplishment to me.

I use a fairly large cup and use 3 Splenda and Almond Milk too.

You have a success attitude - being "out of control" yesterday but back on track today. The day after (imho) is the most important. It puts an end to the not-so-great day and reaffirms that being on track is your norm. Plus, it creates the momentum of staying on track.
Thanks!

Thanks for your post. It is a good reminder of why we should not drink with what we eat. I actually needed this reminder. I don't drink with my meals but I do take a sip when I'm finished.
If you kept the link from this particular YouTube, could you post it here? I'd like to see what you saw as reinforcement of that sip at the end.
Thanks again!
Cathy
