Back On Track Together

Sounds like a plan. I too had a regain and have been back on track to lose the the gain. I can relate to feeling uncomfortable in clothes which barely fit. Also I do notice a difference in how my body feels. I was thinking of this yesterday and how little it takes for me to feel different compared to my pre-op days. I knew I was uncomfortable and everything hurt, but I don't think I realized just how much until the weight was gone. The regain was a was a wake up moment. Don't ever want to go back. Back to basics is what is working for me. It also helps to track my food and commit on this forum each day. Keep us posted on how you are doing and welcome to the group.
Over the past 18 months my weight has creeped back up and i can't take it anymore -- my feet hurt in my shoes at the end of the day and all the new suits I bought for my new job (18 months ago) don't fit.
So enough is enough -- I am mad and determined! :-)
First I want to get back to cleaner eating - cutting out crappy snacking and junk. Also need to drink more water. Once I have a handle on this I will feel better about myself.
Thanks for your support!

hi - i am new to this group. But i certainly understand what you are going thru. I lost weight my 1st yr with the sleeve, maintained for another 18 months after - then changed jobs, now very sedentary, and in concert with that, started snacking (the bad sugar stuff) - well 18 months after job change & I am 25 pds heaver. BUT I refuse to go back over 200 pds, so I am back on track as I am now mad and determined.
So point being - we can do this!!!! One meal at a time, no more snacking, cut the carbs, etc

Of course your discouraged! Who wouldn't be with a 3lb gain! That's OK, get good and pissed off. It will help you stay the course. I am not a happy camper today either. I gained 1/2 lb over night. Do you think the fat gods could cut me a break once?!?! Hell no! So....back to protein shakes today. Eyes looking forward not back.
I am having one healthy meal in the evening and protein shakes the rest of the day including evening snack time. It is the only thing that seems to work for me.
Pick your chin up and have fun at that damn party! Make good food choices and dance! Go to the middle where there are more people (LOL).
If some ignorant a**H*** asks when you are due well gee I could offer a lot of responses here, none probably appropriate. Shock them all and reply June!!! Just kidding. Just ignore them you can't fix stupid.
Have fun. Let us know how the party went. We are all here rooting for you!!!
