I am currently taking the Back on Track course through WLS Success Matters. It is a great program and I am pumped!
Hope things go well for your family and you will have a new addition.
REally feeling good today. Very in touch with when i am hungry and when I have had enough. I do measure, but that does not mean I have to finish everything if I hit satisfaction first. It has been awhile since I felt that.
B-2 egg omelete
L-chicken and brocoli
D- cod and spinach
S-deli sliced roast beef 2 oz
Not much in the way of exercise. I am going mall walking on Friday and yoga on Saturday.
Only you know what your commitment is so if you feel like you are not trying hard enough then ask yourself what your could change to get back into the losing mode. I hear you about the weather as I much prefer to exercise outside. However, I recognize that I can do things inside and that I am making excuses when I don't. I do yoga, but that is not enough. I think drinking water would help as sometimes when I think I am hungry I am really thirsty. I love water plain, but many add crystal lite and things like that to give it flavor. Definitely a good idea to mix with a protein shake. I also had VSG and right now my protein levels are higher than normal between 80-100 grams a day. I did this to jumpstart the weight loss and reduced my carbs to 20 or below. It is working and I lost 4-6 pounds in the last 10 days. The recommended amount of protein by most NUT is 60 mg. so you are low. My calories for today are at 733. I am recording everything in MFP. Once I have lost all of my regain, which is about another 6 pounds, I will increase my carbs 10 grams at a time to find my sweet spot. I have to say since making adjustments and recommitting myself I am feeling so much better physically and emotionally. I know this is not the right plan for everyone, and you will have to find what works best for you. Some of us commit our food plan for the day here which has really helped me. Please join us in doing us.
I'm doing it!! I got four cups of water in me and only half a cup of coffee!!! Yay me!! I woke up at 192.8 but have read 194,8 ever since so I'm assuming it was a malfunction of the scale. So far today I've had 4 cups of water, 1 egg, and half a cup of coffee with 2 tbs of non dairy creamer. Not to shabby. :D I think for lunch I will be eating ham. Made one last night and it turned out pretty good. I didn't realize how few calories were in ham. I will try getting in an ounce and a half today because I could only manage a half ounce yesterday (but ate the insides of a baked potato) I'm going to skip the potato today and see what else i can eat through the day. yesterday I ate some toast too. NOT doing that today. I don't know why I do that to myself. It always leaves me hungry. So I will skip that today too. I am going to stick to my evening cocoa wheats because that fills me up and for some reason even though it has tons of carbs doesn't leave me hungry. Guess it's good carbs? Not sure but I don't crave anything afterwards. Hope you all are doing wonderful
Good luck to your son and his family.
Yesterday was somewhat of a blur as Tuesday night I worked a 12 hour night shift that turned into 14 and I only slept about 3 hours. I did eat 2 mini cinnamon donuts last night but otherwise I stayed on track.
Today my plan is:
B: Click
L: 1/2 sandwich thin with small amount of mayonnaise and deli turkey
S: Apple with almond butter
D: Stuffed green pepper
Have a good day....
My thoughts and prayers are with your son and daughter-in-law for the adoption. Please post an update as to how it went.
Due to the weather, I haven't had any PT sessions this week. I'm doing my exercises but using the equipment is really helpful.
Here's my eats today:
B - 2 cups of coffee w/cream and Splenda
L - Two slices of ham steak with green beans
D - Two scrambled eggs with veggies
S - Apple and one slice of cheddar cheese
Have a happy and healthy day!
Cathy
