Good afternoon botts

Today I started out by digging out (with a shovel) 8 weeds that were like small trees. They were taller than me and I couldn't pull them out even thought they were mostly killed with Roundup. Their root systems were connected and they were trying to stand their ground. I do grow healthy and prolific weeds! I had to dig them out. Next I cleaned out the refrigerator. I remember a WW leader telling us not to shop when we are hungry and bring a list and stick to it. After lunch I headed out with my grocery bags and list. My fridge is now stocked with fresh fruits, veggies and lean meats. I have more house guests coming in on Wed. and I am heading out on Friday for a short vacation. I need to stay strong until I leave, do the best while I am gone and jump bot when I get home. It has been a very fun summer. Take care, Tri

Good evening botts

I hung out with my husband today. We did yard work and sat out on the front porch with the dog. I am chiseling away at the weeds which have been growing for 2 years because of my foot surgery. Fortunately my perennials seem to like the company of the weeds and have been thriving. probably need to cut back portions tomorrow but the food was healthier today. Hope you had a great weekend. Good morning botts

The fair yesterday was so much fun. They had the Percheron and Belgium 6 horse hitch competition. Watching the heavy horses work as a team was just amazing. They trotted together in unison around the Coliseum pulling wagons as their bells jingled. Then we watched the Kids from Wisconsin. So many talented kids singing and dancing with their stage band. Of course we ate too much, but we walked for hours too looking at exhibits and animals. I love the fair! Tonight we have a party to go to. I have always been a "good time" emotional eater. Often we stand around the food table talking and nibbling. I am going to use a plate and encourage my friends to move away from the food table. Have a fun day, Tri

Good morning botts

I am going to the fair today where they sell everything on a stick that is cheesy, fried and dipped in chocolate. It is a lot of fun. We will probably eat at the ag building and have a potato with chili or maybe a brat. Have a fun day. Tri

Good afternoon botts

The summer is flying by and I haven't been tracking or going online except to check the weather, email etc. I have had house guests come and go all summer. I have a vacation coming up. I feel pretty good only gaining 3 lbs. with all the junk food in the house. I am going to try to log my meals until I go on vacation. I have been cooking, cleaning and gardening which does keep me moving. Have a great summer. Tri

Hi, started my day with a protein shake, went to my sister's house and my nephew brought us McDonalds for lunch. It was not what I had planned for lunch but at least it was just a small cheeseburger and fry so I'm just gonna right it down and move on. It was very sweet of him. Dinner is roast pork and sauerkraut with steamed zucchini. So today is not too bad I guess, will be much better tomorrow!

Hi Botts,
Hope everyone is having a great summer. Really need to start tracking my food again. It's way to easy to get off track. And I go back to my surgeon on the 18th so it's day 1 for me.

Good afternoon botts:

We are having company for the next couple weeks so I am cleaning and making beds. It is good to see friends and relatives. It does add additional food challenges. Hopefully we will not eat out a lot. That is a challenge for me.

Have a great day. Tri
