May 16th 8 or 9 meals a day...patience and persistence!

I am settling in with 8 or 9 meals a day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are protein and starch. 3 snacks are fruit and protein (dairy or nuts). I eat a salad and soup for 2 more meals. If I need a snack before bed I have been keeping it at 200 calories. It is all healthy food except that I am not active enough to burn up the calories. At 1800 or 1900 calories it is going to take a long time to get under 200 lbs. I am determined to live this way forever or perhaps find a way to eat a few less calories each day. Every pound or two that I lose makes me feel better. Patience and persistence will help me reach my goal. Tri
