Back On Track Together
May 7th...still struggling along, but I am determined!
I can eat 1800 calories for a day or 2 and then I lose control. My body screams for food and I give in to a few more calories. It takes everything to stop after a couple hundred calorie detour. Before the RNY I was able to maintain 165 to 175 lbs. or less, except when I was on fertility meds or a depo prevera shot (to stop hemorrhaging). Even then I was able to relose my weight gain after the meds cleared out of my body. Since the RNY I can't maintain even 199 lbs. I have PCOS and diabetes most of my life. I had the RNY to cure my diseases not to lose weight. I gained 20 lbs. to qualify for surgery. Since the weight loss surgery I shoot up to 240 lbs. and struggle back down. Twice I was able to reach my pre surgery weight for short periods. My diseases are worse since the surgery. I have saved my clothes for 13 years in hopes of getting back into them. Most people don't expect to gain weight from WLS, but I did. I would be happy to be under 200 lbs. consistently. I am not even trying to get down to my pre surgery weight of 165 lbs. Tri
