Back On Track Together
Day 6. No hunger pains really?
Wow is all I can say. I purchased some "spinach" to make a smoothie, sounded good? but NOT! it was spinach and grapes with coconut milk. Take it or leave it, left it. But now I have cook the Spinach or it will go bad if we don't eat it. Thankfully my son likes it too. Not being tmi, but I need to have a bowel movement at some point, so having some spinach tonight should help that. This is a moderate liquid diet meaning primarily liquids, but tonight I will be having some of that spinach, just a little, I want to see how fast I will fill up? and then wait 30 mins. before a drink.
Speaking of drinking, I will tell you about that in another post in a few days.
I may freeze the remaining of the spinach to enjoy at a later time, perhaps? Can I do that. I need to look that up.
Today was awesome. It's like I think I should be hungry but I am not? What is that? the Protein supplements are really working huh? I had one this morning. & sf Gatorade that I sipped on to get through the day. I will get some reg H2O in this eve. I froze it so, it was cold my entire school day! Went to the Vit Shoppe to get more van. protein powder. I live and die by Syntrax, Nectar, prices keep going up, over the years!! I love the lemon tea, and now the vanilla because I can do so much when it come to smoothies with the Greek yogurt or the unsweetened almond milk. I am so excited about all of my little experiments I will try with protein powder. During this induction faze I purchased some of the dole brand, fruit and veggies, in the bag. Excited about making those smoothies too. Says you can do apple juice, or favorite beverage? I thought about pineapple and cranberry juice. Next time diet CB, right? I can do so much more, then before? or maybe I was just not as experimental as I am Now! Did not walk today, but tomorrow for sure. I will pull my step tape out this weekend, yes ancient old, it's a VHS. still working I pray. I remember looking it up on line a few years ago, to get it on dvd, I may look into that again. Guess what? I can talk your ear off in person too! LOL.
Peace & Love,
Jbug!
Hi Lady Jbug
I really admire your determination as you work out your plan.
Yes I freeze spinach all the time. We have a grocery store that sells huge bags (about a foot by 20 inches) of spinach. I fill a Rubbermade green salad container and pop that in the fridge. Then I put the rest of the spinach in the freezer. After it is frozen I pound it with my fist while it is frozen and it chops the spinach for baking with it. I make spinach (lots of it), onion, garlic, egg, milk and part skim cheese baked souffle or crustless quiche with it. Sometimes I use the 8 gm protein and fiber tortilla and make a crusted quiche. I can add it to pasta and tomato sauce for a side dish. I can add it to my veggie soup. Spinach is a staple for me. Take care, Tri
