So thankful for dill pickle spears as a snack today! Wanted to eat all day today for some reason.  Might regret the extra salt,  but worth a little water weight. When you have maxed out your daily calories,  what are your options?

You may be craving salts. Pickles are great.

Celery is a good addition also.  Raw Cucumber, or cucumber "salad" ..cucumber+ little bit of chopped colorful peppers + dill, salt pepper and some apple cider vinegar.. (pepper to add color and different texture)

Hi Brandigirl and BOTTS

Any low starch veggies...I didn't get here on veggies.  I make dill dip by adding dried dill to plain Greek yogurt....high calcium and protein...no fat or sugar.  Also a tbsp. of salsa to plain Greek yogurt is spicy and good for a dip.

Sugar free Popsicles and Jello.  I make Jello with a little Greek yogurt in it because it seems more filling for just a few extra calories.

Sometimes I drink a glass of water and clean something for 10 minutes and the hunger subsides.

On a bad day I cheat.  I have gone to the store for a small bag of chips.  480 calories and I feel badly about myself.  I don't do it often because it sets me back.  It is important to forgive myself and move for a little penance.

I hope your day went well.  Tri

GREAT idea's Tri! I have been looking for a good dip for chicken and bunless burgers for years and recently found a really good one! It is a greek yogurt with ranch dressing powder. Only 45 calories and next to no sugar or carbs! Wish I would have found it years ago, but glad I at least found it now :)

I try my hardest to have set meal times for the most part to prevent myself from grazing. But on my days off I find it much harder to stick too. I really hate it when I want to eat, but no that I am truly NOT "hungry" just want to eat or crave tasting food!

One of my main "cheats" is an extra coffee during the day. I start each morning with one (with creamer) and honestly look forward to it the night before. On days I need something flavorful I will have another cup (again with creamer). It's extra calories but some times perks me up, warms me up and it's a better choice than a lot of other things I could reach for.

Fighting the fight each day :)
