Back On Track Together
Sept. 15th
I have been logging on the Mayo Clinic Diet site. I haven't been posting because I have been stressing over my laundry room (See Sept. 10). The new dryer came and it didn't fit. I had a wonderful salesman who got an electric to me yesterday and it fits...yippy!!!
Fortunately, I can run either gas or electric. The laundry room looks great but it was stressful wondering if I was going to have to use a 4 cf. machine or build an addition. All's well that ends well. I love the machines and the new laundry room.
I am chugging along with food. I am still eating out the freezer and pantry. Cooking and baking several times a day. Today I made Spamipasto Salad: light Spam, whole wheat pasta, artichoke hearts, black olives, chick peas, Swiss cheese, cherry tomatoes and fat free Italian salad dressing (6 meals!!!!) Lunch for the next week. Tomorrow I will make hummus with my frozen edamame and canned chick peas. I actually found a recipe for it by searching by ingredients. Hope you are all well, Tri

B: leftover whole wheat pasta, tuna and ff mayo
S: salad: spinach, tomato, sugar snap peas, cantaloupe, clementine, sun flower seeds, fat free Italian dressing
L: Spamipasto salad
S: veggie soup, nectarine and plain Greek yogurt
D: Whole wheat roll and sirloin steak
S: Metamucil cookies, 80 cal Greek yogurt, nsa apple sauce
