Hi group...

Imam so happy to be back at it. I am ten years post op and in those ten years gained 60 pounds. I could drag on with a hundred reasons why, but primarily 3 months after my operation my batiatric center closed their doors leaving me with no one.

Im going to see a surgeon next week to re guide me into the back to basics. She said today, we are taking you right back to day one pre op.

i completed the 5 day, and now I am 15 pounds lighter. I started elliptical bike riding and am up to 2.5 miles a day. I also started swimming at the lake and today joined the rec center for swimming as well.

i am glad I have you all. If you want to know more about me, in the search tab look up Rae coon and my old profile is there.

thank you.

Hi there

i don't really care for the term pouch test. I like to consider it more of a 5 day carb detox.

What it is, you start on day one of the 5 day on clear liquid, and protein drinks. Do this for one day..it's hard to do but you can do it...then on day 2, you consume full liquid with your pretein shakes, day 3 allow soft pureed proteins, day for soft proteins and day 5, regular meats. During this time, it's a good time to use all your pouch rules, exercise and get back into good gastric bypass habits.

On day six, you are now ready to resume your full gastric eating and your pouch has diminished, you are detox from carbs, and feeling great with a new mindset.

We are blessed to have this.
