Back On Track Together

WEEK 5 BOT

I didn't get a chance to post last Saturday which was the end of my 30 day/4 week BOT challenge I gave myself to loose 5 pounds and stay away from refined sugar and flour, drink all water, record all food, and eat veggie/fish/plant protein and get back on track.

I gained a half a pound the final week which bummed me out.  But I know why - I ate too many calories (I recorded them). But I did loose 4.5 pounds over 30 days.  I think now the real work begins.  Water weight is gone and it may be slooooooooooooooooooooooooooow losses from here with big effort. I find that hard.  but if I can loose even incrementally - that would be great.

I won't list all my stresses with work, business travel, family, life, etc. but they are many and intense. Having a harder time focusing and wanting to eat for emotional reasons more. And start traveling for work again starting tomorrow and find eating out with work people hard - I want to reach for bread and share desserts.  And this trip will be visiting family as well who will want to do nothing but feed me. So need to psyche myself up.

It helped me to have a 30 day goal and to ramp up to committing,  I need a revised plan/goal to contain my actions.  Will give it thought....as I drink my water...;)

Good luck. For me traveling makes it easy and difficult at the same time. Easy - because when I eat in restaurants - I can make good selection- meat and veggies...and once that is gone - no snacking.

More difficult- because the stress and the other food around me plus booze. Wine for dinner... etc. temptations.
