Back On Track Together
Half way there!
As of the past couple of days, I have reached the half way point. I have lost 16 pounds of the 32 pounds I had regained.
I am trying to stay motivated, as in May was only a 1 pound loss, but I will take it. Need to start moving more.
So just want to encourage anyone struggling with regain, it is possible to lose it.
I did not think I could do it, but I am fighting every day to keep my health.
I am watching my 74 yr old mother struggling with her eye sight, diabetic neuropathy, and she is starting to lose her mobility already, and I do not want to go down that path.
Hope everyone has a great day and weekend.

1 lb down is great. not going up is great.
Keep plugging along...

Congratualtions on reaching your halfway point! I have about the same amount of regain and have just started getting my act together. So far I've had a successful week of making healthier choices. I haven't checked the scales to see the results, but the fact that I feel so much better makes my efforts to change worth it either way. Onto the next meal/day/week/pound lost.... Congratulations again!

Maria,
Glad to hear your half way to goal. You are a great inspiration.
I've had a rough couple of weeks. Emotionally eating and fooling myself I could lose weight without exercising. I vow to get back on track and exercise for 20 mins twice a day. I am also going to eat 1000 calories a day and no more. I am going to lose this weight!!!!
That is inspiring and impressive - thanks for posting! I have just about that plus a few more pounds gained since my surgery 7 years ago to lose - so love reading this. And your comment about your mother rings true for me too - and I found fear for me to be a great motivator if used constructively.
Can you share with me (if you are comfortable doing so) how many calories you are eating and how you got to your half way mark? How you approached getting BOT?
