I'm very grateful that I am healthier because of my WLS. I'm no longer on chronic medications and I'm able to get on the floor and play with my grandkids and, I might add, get back up without help

I'm grateful for my supportive family, both immediate and extended. They have never given me anything but positive feedback and some have asked my advice on their own journey toward healthier living.

I'm grateful for my holistic nursing community. I get to enjoy certification in the field and the ability to attend conferences and seminars with some truly amazing people.

This was a great idea Cathy...Thank You

I am grateful for the time I had with my hubby before he passed away.

I am grateful for my family and friends that are there for me.

And even though I have health issues, I am grateful to be alive and moving.

My incredible daughter who is smart enough to remind me to be nice to myself.  Yesterday, we were watching home movies and I commented how fat I was.  She simply looked at me and said "instead of saying that, you should be saying - look how far I've come."  I'm so grateful that she is mature enough to call me out on my bad example that I was setting and put me on the right path.
